Learn something new every day watching your videos which can come in handy on my own Graham Farish locomotives

Hi, Ive just come across your channel. Although I tend to buy DCC ready stock it was very interesting to see your approach to solving its ‘sluggish’ issues. I’ll have a look at your other videos, then watch with interest

Nice video, made me chuckle when you were putting the half's of the loco back together. Glad Bach/Far have changed that with the newer models

Thanks very much Richard for fixing my loco. Cannot believe it was oil and CV. Just need to tidy the roof.🤪🤪🥳

Maybe a bit of black paint simulating soot might hide it a bit? Let me know how you get on Roger 👍

I tend to reset decoders to factory defaults for testing as my controller allows doing so - you do lose any "tweeks" you have made of course. Thanks for the interesting video.

Another great job on the loco, I am learning so much from your videos. Cv's are always an interesting area, I've heard of model shops selling locos cheap as non runners, then it turned out the loco was dcc and the cv on the decoder had been selected for dcc only and obviously the model shop only tested them with dc and the didn't work LOL! All the best Tony.

I wouldnt mind getting myself a few non runners like that! mind you i also put my chips on DCC only as apparently if you program the DCC chips to run both DC and DCC sometimes the chips in the locos can get confused and can speed off around the track... Take care Tony, Rich

@@ThisWayWorksTWW Yes, usually a short on the track will cause the locos to come to life by themselves LOL!

Silly question What type of screwdriver are you using?
@ThisWayWorksTWW Жыл бұрын
I have two favourite screwdrivers, a flat headed screwdriver and a cross point (philips screwdriver), both of which actually came free with the 3d printers i bought over the years. They are unbranded unfortunately but really what your after especially is a philips screwdriver that you can put a screw on and by being a good fit the screw will stay on the end of the screwdriver... If i can find the screwdrivers for sale il link them here 👍
