Villa fan watching this after Lampard’s sacking, this was his finest hour. I was blown away the first time wondering who we might come up against in in the playoff final but watching this a second time, ohh man goosebumps. Everyone cracked in hard, this is an absolute classic. Villa did it, Leeds finally did it and I sincerely hope Derby bounce back from what’s going on currently.

Totally agree with that, just a big screw up on team selection at Wembley.He perhaps wishes he had spent another year as a trainee manager in the championship before going to Chelsea. You would hope things cannot get any worse at present thats for sure! Just watch this now and again to see how good things were back then with a decent side before shit hit the fan worldwide only about 9 months later.

I think if they're in the Prem they should go back to Derby on loan. Realistically Harry Wilson has to go back to Liverpool and take a starting spot off of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, he's got potential, but I don't think he's that good yet

@@Waddyy at 21/22....its not realistic to expect him to be at Salah 's level. Salah went years doing average things....he only started to step up when Chelsea sold him. Wilson has plenty of time. If I were Liverpool, I would let him stay at Derby if they get promotion. Quality top flight experience.

Absolute classic game. Marriott fantastic but Mason Mount's goal pure class. Can see why he is doing so well now. The best Rams performance in the last forty years. What we could do with this team now, three of the best loan players you could wish for no question.

Still can't believe we had Mount, Wilson and Tomori on loan, two great attacking mids who could play wide and a strong defender in Tomori who with Keogh made a strong central defence who could individually push forward knowing they can rely on their counterpart. Miss these days

Oh we've all been waiting for this one.. this one is going in the saved folder for ever and ever amen hahahaha. Couldn't care less about the final, if Villa win fair play to em and good luck in the prem, don't mind their fans or club tbh. But that lot deserved that, and now their officially the biggest wa**ers out there again.

villa fan here. i was amused to find leeds fans on social media brushing off derby and thinking they will automatically meet us in the final. utter disrespectful. ball hasnt even been kicked! well done Rams. will be an intense final come 27th May. All the best to both teams!

@adam smith We know that as much as anyone lol... 2014 Vs QPR was karma for the 2007 mugging we gave WBA. the meltdown in 2014/15, 5 points clear at the top with 14 games to play, a 15 point cushion on 7th,, didn't even make the playoffs.. top again in 2015/16 and collapsed again, beat Hull 3 out of 4 games but still failed to make Wembley (8-3 up over 4 games),, so yes we've been there before, we've failed every time we've been in a position to seal the deal. Leeds are now in the club hahahaha.

It will be a different game,,,,,But as a Villa fan i must admit that performance makes me a bit nervous....May the best team win but i hope its vlla!
