I will say that all of you guys do really well with your media and correspondence with your fans. You respond to people!! That's so important to respond and give that fan the feeling that your actually listening to what they've said. You all answer questions and comment to people. That's a Great feeling!! It's your job!! Your basically working 24/7. Your just doing it with friends thank God.. I've worked on jobs away from home. Look at these cell tower guys that wire up the towers and get them up and running. They get paid well .. But they get paid every week for showing up. Where as you guys!! You can show up for work , but if you don't catch fish, you don't get paid.. So, your job is probably the hardest away from home over the road jobs out there... You guys rock!! What a great video, I have a set of twins as well, I know what Jmart is going through. Talked to him at Red Crest about it. DC you will love life with your new baby and congratulations on that! Great tips on what it's really like to be a pro angler. I thanked every wife I saw at Red Crest for the sacrifice and time that they allow the guys to fish to bring us content and the ability to learn from the top anglers in the world. I equated it to Military spouses having to do everything while soldiers are deployed so a huge shout out to all the anglers wives or significant others.

I give you all credit for what yall chose as a profession. I chose life safety and love to fish whenever possible. After watching this, I have a new understanding of bass fishing pros. Best one ever!!! You guys need to do a weekly episode. What you want to know and didn’t about the life of a professional outdoor sportsman. DC blowouts are very real. My daughter being a female would have a blowout every time my wife went shopping with her, like she knew she would get a new outfit from it. DC you’re in for a treat, although it will be several years before you realize it. Best to all you guys.

All self employed people have heard the must be nice comment. I’ll take a day off to go fishing and people have no idea what i have to do and how much extra time that i have to put in over the weekend or at night to be able to do it. Most people that work a 9-5 or never took the chance don’t understand it. Keep up the great work guys!

Wanted to thank Brent an DC, plus All the guys going in half on spitting the fund's to have a place to rest well. I watched till the end an love yall's content. DC saying he pays 25K on gas with a baby on the way, plus entry fees and food. My wife Amy, son Bryson and I make 100% profit from mowing yard's as a family an drive 8K miles per year. There are also alot of pluses to fishing like only working half the year. I live the life yall live on the road for the past 20 yrs. Have one kid fixing to graduate high school and ive missed it all. Everyone that will be successful will have to make sacrifice but i certainly feel yalls pain

So glad y'all brought up INTEGRITY !!! It has been forgotten ! Not just in professional fishing but fishing, hunting and life in general. I am disabled but can still fish so I am on the water at least 2 days a week sometimes more. I will not fish on the weekend because of the idiots on the water and I am like DC, I'm from South Alabama and I am packing. People please. do unto others and if you can't, stay home! I fish small tributary lakes off of the Mobile River and NO ONE idles by you when you are fishing and this is required by law in these narrow lakes. My daddy taught me that before it was a law and he taught me to RESPECT other fishemen /women and not stop 50 feet in front of them and start fishing. I have rambled enough but please everyone change the atmosphere and respect each other and be friendly.

So.... Since Boyd said no to Netflix for a Derby Fisherman reality show. You guys , Zaldains, Scott Martin, Ben Milliken all get together approach Netflix and make a Reality series..... on derby touring pros. Now is the time for highly visable fisherman to grab more industry percentages. The above mentioned groups could easily surpass any "League" market share.... BPT, MLF, BassMaster. Great time to be a "Young" pro bass fisherman. Wishing you guys the best of luck with the "Off The Water" ventures. I wish I only spent 18 weeks, tops, away from my wife and daughter! I was home 4 weeks in 2023 pipelining wishing I was fishing! I’d feel like a full time dad if I only worked 9-18 weeks a year! “Time away from home” is nothing from my perspective!

I'm sure it's tough being away and focusing on the fishing. That said, it's nothing like the sacrifice of our military people who are out, all over the world risking their lives.
