When I applied, these questions definitely tripped me up for a bit. As to the response to these questions, It all depends on how the it is worded. I definitely indicated that I work well in teams as well as individually and I got accepted in the first round so idk. I really wouldn’t worry about it too terribly much. So long as you answer honestly and don’t try to force an outcome you should be fine. Disney has been doing this for a long time and they can tell when you answer honestly v. when you try to answer what you think they’ll like

I just got through the web based interview. This tripped me up a good bit too, but I leaned towards working in groups since Disney really wants to see that you’re a team player. I put disagree for working alone just so I wouldn’t be contradicting.

I heard back by the end of the week but it could be a couple months. In your application received email Disney should have given you a date that you definitely will hear by. For spring 2022 applications, that date was December 10

You're actually going to skip over the phone call portion of the interview. That's something new that they've been doing with the last couple of batches of CP's. After you've completed the WBI, you've done all you can do. Your dashboard says that because its the same dashboard they use for all Disney job applications most of which require a phone call/video interview

You definitely don't need to, its not a requirement; however, I attached both a resume and cover letter in addition to my college transcript

Definitely don't down play your skills! There are other questions where you can show that you're a team player

So Disney has a jobs portal where you can input your various jobs but it’s kinda hidden. You can’t necessarily find it with a google search so my “cheat” to find the input section is to “apply” for any job posting they currently have open and input your information. It’s the same application system as for the DCP and once you’ve inputted your information all you have to do is save your info and delete your application. With that being said as soon as applications drop the inputting page become very easy to find through the Disney programs webpage

Unfortunately the DCP in Disneyland hasn’t come back since the pandemic. The only option at the moment is Disney World in Orlando

They definitely didn’t ask about living in dcp housing in the applications. After you’ve been accepted Disney will email you with housing information and then you can chose to opt out of Disney housing if you chose too. Living at Flamingo Crossings has absolutely no bearing on whether or not you’ll be accepted✨

You do get to say that I would prefer to live in… but it’s not a guarantee and Disney will put you where they have space

I said no to the lifeguard question and I still got accepted so you’re all good!

No! Living independently is like a little bonus - it won’t make or break your chances of getting accepted

That is a great question. There is no housing component to the DCP application. After you have been accepted you will receive additional information from Disney 30-60 days before your program starts about room sizes, rates, and roommate linking✨

That’s great! Congrats on passing your wbi! As for next steps, there is nothing more for you to do as at this point you’ll either get an offer or a rejection (but I feel confident it will be an offer✨). So far this application season offer waves have gone out on Mondays and Friday, but I have noticed more acceptances on Mondays. Hope this helped!

Hi Luke! That's a great question. It's not a big deal if you don't have 5 "jobs"listed on your profile - any relevant experience is fine. Volunteer or unpaid experiences are just as important as "professional" jobs. Include any experience that you think best shows off your skill set. P.S. 2 years at a job is great! It shows dedication to your current job and employers love that!

When I applied it was in the initial application but people that I’ve talked too for this round of applications have said that it will supposedly be part of the offer acceptance process

Honestly any work experience is fine. Disney just wants to see that you've done things and put yourself out there. If you're really concerned try and apply for guest facing roles so you can show that you know how to interact with people in a professional/service setting

It sounds like your resume was great, that’s what got you through to the WBI. Unless you have any new work experience, I’m sure it would be fine to keep

So my actual resume is only a page long but I had 5 jobs with 3-4 bullet points each on my Disney jobs profile

@@CarolyninFantasyland are you able to cancel that late in the program? i absolutely want to do the program but it scares me to death that they’ve removed the entire “role preference” indicator. i have an extremely weak stomach and i just can’t be around certain things without being sick, if i was offered custodial i think i’d have to cancel. do you know any details on that? i know the program fee is nonrefundable, and i’d bet it would hurt you chances of ever applying again?

@@avakay1 you can term before your program starts if you so choose or you can submit a medical accommodation request. I know some people who got placed in roles they physically couldn't handle and then submitted an ESA and got changed to a different role (with that being said they didn't find out their role until they got there because the submitted their request so late in the game)

@@CarolyninFantasyland thank you so much for the quick response!! i have another question if you don’t mind aha about housing, is that a choice you get to make definitively based on what you want to pay? a preference? or is it all based on availability, (i.e. you request to have your own room & bathroom but end up sharing a bedroom). and when do you know housing details? sorry for all the questions, these are things i’ve looked up but there doesn’t seem to be an answer available!

@@avakay1 so you don't get to definitively choose your housing but you do get to say "if there is space available, i want to live in this room style." You get your lease with what floor plan you've been assigned about a month before your program starts. Also you can submit a medical accommodation for a specific room type but they are a bit harder to get because there's only x amount of rooms available (the 2x2's do have a privacy divider that splits the bedroom in half if that helps)
