There's rarely any dialog with any video... No one wants to watch and video without someone doing commentary on what's transporting. BMS needs to be overhauled... especially the controller settings

@@funkyt08 Videos of transporting sounds boring regardless of the sim. Controls are so damn easy in BMS vs. DCS

It's hard to have commentary while in a package and listening to two radios. I have a few videos where I try to do some commentary overlay.

THX for your video! How much would you say M-Pole correlates to MAR? Would you take MAR as defined for the different AC and weapons in "The Vault" and wait till that distance is shown as M-Pole on the HUD to fire your slammer? Assuming that you crank afterwards and wait till Pittbull before going out/over ...

Yes you want to be launching your fox3 when the pre launch symbology shows a predicted M-pole = or > the briefed MAR - the threat guide has basic MARs for all A/C but the actual MAR will be highly situation dependent!

I’ve watched several BMS videos showcasing the grinder tactics and wondering why the speed is almost always subsonic, transonic when engaging. Is it because endurance is more important in CAP mission?

You hit it right on the head. Not having enough fuel to stay on station defeats the purpose of you being there in the first place. Gaining speed on the hot legs give your missiles a bit of a boost to get over the mach.

What’s the difference between husky and pitbull. I know that pitbull means that the missile is autonomous but what does husky mean?

Husky means that is is in HPRF. This radar mode is looking for high aspect targets to lock on to if a target is cold then it may not "see" them.

Just curious, in the DLZ where are you usually shooting in a head to head bvr engagement?

1 v1 BVR joustings are not accurate to what really happens but earlier the shot the better chance you can have your opponent turn away. Ropt is usually a good shot to take especially for the first engagement. If you have wingman Raero can be beneficial as well. But it really just depends. Thanks for watching

@@AviationPlus and thanks for these, they're great. So with a wingman I assume you're shooting at Raero to try to get the enemy on the defensive as quickly as possible. Then, have the wingman follow up your shot (preferably with a better one) and start the grinding if needed?
