Eagle Dynamics: Digital Combat Simulator

The F-15E, developed in the mid 1980's, is a dual-role fighter designed to perform air-to-air and air-to-ground missions. An array of avionics and electronics systems give the F-15E the capability to fight at low or high altitude, day or night, and in all weather. Even though it’s almost a year later, and the F-4E is soon to come out. I haven’t forgot about the incredible F-15E. Please don’t stop supporting it and I hope your company continues to release new products for DCS. I still play and love the Mirage 2000C as well. If this a financial issue, I hope it is worked out.

@@paulmartinek1716you obviously haven’t been using the multi threading. I run mine on all maxed setting and stay around 80-100fps at 1440p using the multi threading launcher.

The F-15 Eagle is an air superiority fighter designed for air-to-air combat, while the F-15E Strike Eagle is a multi-role fighter designed for both air-to-air and air-to-ground missions. The F-15E has additional features such as a rear cockpit for a weapons system officer, conformal fuel tanks for extended range, and additional hardpoints for carrying a wider range of weapons.

@@paulmartinek1716 I understand that DCS World is a very advanced and realistic flight simulator, and I don't question its merits. However, when I compare F15 Strike Eagles III to DCS World, I do so in the context of the time when F15 Strike Eagles III was developed, i.e. 1992. At that time, simulation games were limited by technological capabilities and available resources. Despite this, F15 Strike Eagles III was considered a very well-made game for its time. I'm not trying to devalue DCS World, but simply to underline the achievement that F15 Strike Eagles III was at the time. Happy hunting !

This is so badass. The DCS trailers never disappoint. All the way down to the minute details like Lady Liberty on the back of the tail of an LN bird from the 48th FW, the Liberty Wing. Love it.

I started on F-19, Fighter Bomber and Combat Pilot on ZX Spectrum. In last 3 years I cant get out of fascination, what DCS and all its partners have achieved. The amount of detail here is insane. I love the pilot’s movements. So realistic! Awesome trailer!

I fly Tomcats and Hornets and as such we have all this suspension we are going to use all this suspension. Starting to fly the F-15 I see a lot of bent landing gear in my future.

It happened to me when I moved from Flaming Cliffs 2 to DCS Flaming Cliffs. I had to change the way to land F-15 if I wanted to have my landing gear undamaged.

I still can't get over the graphics in this game. It's so immersive when you play with all of the systems that are supposed to be there in place to every scratch on the canopy. I'm hoping for this game's future only to be brighter

I absolutely love the scratched canopy effect. I didn't even start seeing it until recently because I had my graphics turned down too low I think but now it's an absolute must. I also love the wear and tear on the inside of the Tomcat cockpit but it looks equally stunning in the F-15E.

@@smgdfcmfah Sorry i write it wrong. I tried to say in the 'hollywood' or pop culture way. There's a couple of obvious movies with the Tomcat, F-16 and even the F-18 (ID4) as stars but i dont remember one with the F-15 (as the aircraft taking a big role).

@@berserker6341 Ah yes, you're 100% correct about that! I'm an old dog, so I was in high school when Top Gun and Iron Eagle came out. The Eagle was always my favorite aircraft so I was dying for a movie with fantastic footage and a passible story (like Top Gun) that centered on the F-15, but it never got the love in spite of it's incredible track record.

Great video. Great to see more iconic aircraft coming to DCS and all the love for RAZBAM (Love that Harrier). I will likely buy the Strike Eagle to support the developers. Having said that, I'm happy with my Hornet, and look forward to new feature-introducing modules such as improvements to Supercarrier, flyable Bombers, flyable tanker aircraft, flyable AWACS, more maps, and better terrain technology to bring terrains closer to MSFS standards.
