Nice video. Really enjoying the F-16 on trial. Feels much more intuitive then the F/A-18

Interesting. I get the complete opposite feeling. Maybe it stems from the fact that I would watch all the wags vids as features got implemented and was able to learn them in a piecemeal fashion. I haven’t done that with the viper really. I think if I was more proficient with the A-10, it would be more intuitive for me as well.

@@coreyballard8359 Yeah i think it is a very personal thing. Some find the 18 more intuitive while for others the 16 is easier. I watched guides for both, and even after the Harrier the 16 still felt a lot more logical in how the systems and menu structure are built up.

@@XCougar85X for me, it’s the HOTAS hell that I find myself in, trying to remember all the commands. Kills me. In the hornet, it’s “I wanna control the right display; Sensor select ->”. Viper is DMS down to get to the different stuff. Confuses the hell outta me

F16 is easier but f18 feels more polished and the a/g is more capable. But f16 is very good in a/a if only the radar is more powerful..

I hate the tpod on the F-16. I cannot figure it out. The F-18 is much easier to get. Great video!

This tutorial really sums up the TGP. Even the tutorial doesn't know what the hell is going on with it lol. It's so frustrating to use. Great video but I cant stand the TGP at this time and I really want to use it.

A-A mode *is* implemented. you have to be in a-a master mode for it to appear

thanks for the video, but how to set my TGP on my waypoint? as i remember it goes to the waypoint automatically last year, now im trying to do that any help?

I think it will still do that if you press NWS.

Deephack. Sorry for this 200 word essay but I have a question. I've gotten a little more comfortable with the TGP and mainly use it to slave Mavs. Here is the problem I'm having literally right. The mav is slave to the tgp. The mav camera mimics my slewing of the tgp but the mav camera is looking below the point track of the tgp. Not by a ton. I can still see the tank but I have to manually correct the aim of the mav. Have you ever seen this happen? And do you know of a solution?

Update. This appears to be a bug specific to the mission I was in. I created my own test range and all is working as it should now.

If you cold start the aircraft you likely need to follow the maverick boresighting procedure here kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aNaPd7KTqLSoeWg.html

I wonder why they still have fuel flow active while in Active Pause?

All the systems of the aircraft are still fully simulated in active pause, the only thing it does is freeze your aircraft position so it does make sense that you are still burning fuel. Your engine is still turning.

@@deephack True. I should have worded it a little differently. I think during active pause if your not moving it should be dropped to idle. If you notice during the training missions you start at a set throttle position while you listen and follow the steps of the tutorial but you can however adjust the amount of throttle up or down. Anyways, it's not a biggie, just observation. BTW, great vid and channel. Your tutorials have helped immensely!
