Is the difference between cbu97 and 105 that the 105 and 103’s are guided?

Correct. The CBU-103 and 105 are the CBU-87 and 97 with a special guidance kit on it. To be precise the 87 becomes the CBU-103 and the 97 becomes the CBU-105.
