I have flaming cliffs 3.. what's the improvement of flaming cliffs 2024? Just higher resolution graphics and 3 additional aircraft (I already have the high fidelity versions of the f5, f86 and mig 15 personally paid individually)?

It's just an easy way for them to get money and it's just the aircraft no graphics updated

Of course it looks better than warthunder. WT is free and cockpits look like paper cutouts. It also makes it somewhat less resource-intensive, although not efficiently so, but still it is the only game i can fly in VR. Raindrops look really so good in your video. For some reason they dont appear for me in DCS, (neither flat nor VR), despite the setting being turned on, troubleshooting, etc.

Yeah WT IS optimisé for multiplayer with low definition. Also thé cockpit in DCS IS totally dynamic and clicable with HD monitor MFD dynamique... Anyway WE talk about fidélity... Very close. Btw WT looks like have a better missile IR Modeling 😮 Notching on DCS is different.. Anyway 3am, go yo bed😂

Does it have interactable cockpit with motion controls or are you using a physical hotas?

its flaming cliffs, everyhing is done by keybinds/lowfidelity cockpits. if you want fully interactable cockpits like irl, look at standalone modules.

You don't need a nuclear powerplant for vr if you stick to a lower resolution one. I use RiftS and ofcourse it has its disadvantages compared to a new fancy 5k+ vr (like the lack of proper peripherical view and a bit more "flat" colors but I managed to run in full and rock stable 80hz (which is the max fps of the RiftS) on a ryzen 5800x3d and 4070ti. Since I rtied the vr and gopt decent 40+ fps I never played dcs on 2d screen... Vr is another level.

"better then warthunder" most understated statement ive ever heard. warthunder looks garbage compared to dcs xD also i dont think dcs is made for VR like you say. you have 100% more advantages with trackir, no headweight, faster vision, zoom and you can actually see things sharp.as for helicopters however, deffo VR for spacial awareness while hovering

vr is not how you want to play ACM or BFM if you don't want your neck to snap off lol. yeah, they have to do that in real life too but i'd rather not strain myself that much just for my jollies. frankly, i don't know how you guys can stand it....

You should easely tweak the 3D contraint rotation rate.. something liké that... 90° turn left on X axis = 180 °.. it IS avaible on travk IR .... No motion sickness🐒🙈🤷🤡
