No boom-and-zoom. That is a very serious offense against the conventional wisdom - energy fighter vs. turn fighter. Probably why so many opponents are surprised, Messerschmitts and Focke-Wulfs are supposed to come down on you from above. Probably thought she was the gardener running a weed-whacker when up she comes guns blazing. But if Arianne wanted to turn fight in a Condor she would turn fight in a Condor and more Mustangs and Spitfires would fall out of the sky in pieces.

the most effective boom-zoom in WWii was exatctly to change your hight to speed and then to approach and attack enemy plane from down.

did you see different video? For me he did Hartmann style. All targets didnt see him. Marseille attacked alone dozens of brits and shot them out of defence circles from above or below....and he often fired when the target was not visible and hidden under the nose of his Me109 F....daily business in Il2 1946 back in the times for me and my squad mates =)

Bei einer Flugsimulation geht es auch in erster Linie nicht um die Grafik, sondern um die korrekte und realitätsnahe Darstellung der Luftfahrzeuge. Ich spiele zwar auch gerne IL2, allerdings ist IL2 eher ein Flugspiel als ein Simulator.

Bloody nonsense Fw190s did not shoot so many Spitfires n P-51 D as shown in this game. Allied pilots n planes were not clumsy.

Exactly, FW190's is called "The Butcher bird" for a reason. Hint hint. Very deadly. Fun fact Allied called there planes fighter While Germans called theirs, Hunters. Different view and approach.

The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 is widely regarded as Germany's best fighter aircraft of World War II. Its appearance in the skies over France in August 1941 was a rude shock to the Allies, as it was clearly superior to any other plane. And the Long-Nosed Dora is considered the best mass-produced late-war Luftwaffe fighter. The pilots quickly found that the Jumo 213-powered Focke-Wulf Dora 9 was superior to the venerable P-51B Mustang.
