It’s an amazing Sim, but a bit beyond my desire to learn it all. However, I can at least do some flying around and enjoy the beauty! :)

The entire catalogue is NOT on free trial. Ironically you're commenting this on a video on the OH-58 which, for example, specifically is NOT available on trial either and according to it's devs never will be - although maybe that will change in the future.

@@kontoname I don’t like your tone mister. It’s not that serious. But yeah that came out 2 weeks ago it’s not going to be in trial. But most are. I haven’t run into any that I wanted to try that aren’t.

Thank you kindly! 🙏 For that flight I used my Flight Stick’s Twist handle for rudder control. I’m also now trying to set up my 360 for flight control as, for me, it’s just way more comfortable to use. Either way, it’s a fun bird to fly!

@@simwirx 360 like the xbox controller? im thinking about trying with my dualshock but last time i tried with the dualshock in dcs it kept disconnecting causing huge lagspikes and causing me to crash into the ground

@undulato yeah, the controller. I have the elite v2. I love the feel of it. I just need to spend some time setting it up. I haven’t had any crashes with it, but perhaps I just haven’t used it that much. I like my Velocity One Stick, but for some reason or another I just prefer that 360 in my hands. Of course I’m not that good at DCS as far as all the bobs and knobs go, but I sure do love flying around enjoying the feel of those high fps flights! Now I have to learn how to turn on those guns so I can blow some convoys up during those smooth explorations! :)

@@simwirx would you recommend the kiowa to a beginner like me? i love the cockpit and visibility and love agile flightmodels like the little bird and kiowa, since it would be my first module

@undulato Absolutely! It’s by far a fantastic module! It flies great! It’s really loosy-goosy when you first try taking off, but after a few tries & you get the feel of it, it’s truly a wonderful flight! I recommend trying flights that are airborne first so you can get acquainted with it at first. It’s a light helo so it’s a lot easier to maneuver. After an hour you should be very comfortable with it!

I think it just hit me, Top Gun Maverick, the moment Mitchel pulls the F-14 and guns down the enemy interception...?
