@@ruskiwaffle1991 That's might be because still most of its equipment is from '70s. Still 70s tactics and strategy. Logistics based on crates, trains and small trucks. They (officialy) implememnted socks in the army in 2013! In 40s the had a lot of US and british equipment thanks to lend-lease program. Russian industry was based on 20s-30s US technology, but now it's 70s-80s russian technology. Now rus have only one tank factory (that almost bancrupt few time in XXI century). It doesn't mind how many taks they have if most of them are T-72BM from mid 80s (no need to count all those outdated, rusty T-6x, they were outdated 30 years ago)

@@grkobylka Well, yes. Lend Lease to the Soviet’s helped stem the tide of fascism, but the losses were a combination of civilian and military casualties. I think it was a 60% military 40% civilian ratio. The Germans exterminated as they went along and with help from SS divisions, killed many many people, of which were likely factored into the soviet deaths. I’m unsure though, but that could explain the high death rate despite being lend leased a ton of equipment.

@@RichRacc Officialy: 11,27 mln soldiers and 13,4mln civilians. But 2-3mln died of hunger or diseases, not killed by Germans. Basically Russians killed 2-3 millions of their own people during war. Nice! And remember, that Germany lost 4-5 mln soldier on eastern front. It's all about how commanders are using soldiers. In Red Army they were expendable. Really strange that nothing changed in Rossia till today. This nation will never learn. Someday it will vanish annihilated but it's own leaders.

To be fair the Red Army was strong now it's just sad excuse of a ghost of what it once was

@@theg.o.a.t9864 Yeah, but with that said, French tanks = Nearly immobile through the entire battle, German tanks = got pretty much worn out driving all over the friggin place but were able to negate numerical superiority.
