DCTV Crisis on Infinite Earths Crossover Teaser (HD) Lex Luthor Recruited by The Monitor

4 жыл бұрынThe CW will present its biggest DC crossover ever with CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS airing across five different episodes of the network’s hit superhero series and spanning two quarters (December 2019 and January 2020). Additionally, characters from BLACK LIGHTNING will be featured for the first time ever in this year’s epic CRISIS OF INFINITE EARTHS crossover. Plus, the legendary voice actor Kevin Conroy (“Batman: The Animated Series”) will be making a special guest appearance as Bruce Wayne from the future. Crisis on Infinite Earths begins Sunday December 8th on The CW!

The greatest Lex Luthor line ever written by any writer. Well that or "Superman made me do it." or "You wouldn't BELIEVE what this cost me." Or "Then I'm overqualified". On the other hand, wasn't crazy about Lex's sarcastic chess joke - c'mon man, Lex would never even joke that his intellect wasn't the most useful superpower of all. (See above "Overqualified" line - keep in mind, this is from a JLU episode where he defeats DARKSEID!) You know, we all had a year to ask this about Cryer's Lex, and about 8 years or so to ask this about Arrowverse, but how the fuck are the CW shows kicking the DC movies asses? It's both awesome and fucking sad at the time time.

I am glad they are doing the thing of "repeat the same teaser" BUT with a previous NEW teaser. as in, "teaser A gets repeated across all shows, but and extra teaser will whow depending of the series"

Gene Hackman, John Shea, Clancy Brown, Michael Rosenbaum... Jon Cryer is no doubt right up there with them as one of the greatest actors to ever portray Lex Luthor. He is just absolutely perfect in the role and embodies everything that makes Lex so appealing. He was pure gold in Supergirl Season 4 and I’m so glad he’s back for Crisis on Infinite Earths.

uncanny dcmarvelous in my opinion, Jon Cryer and the creative team did just that. There’s such irony in that Superman: The Quest For Peace was one of the worst films ever made, yet the Season 4 finale (also titled The Quest For Peace) was absolutely excellent. As was Season 4 overall.

To me, the absolute best seasons are... Arrow Seasons 1, 2 & 5 Flash Seasons 1 & 2 Legends of Tomorrow Seasons 2 & 3 Supergirl Season 4

As far as I’m concerned, that last assessment is a given. In the long run, Lex Luther is not one to be ever trusted. He’ll help, but only out of a sense of self-preservation or if he gets something out of the deal.

Barry said that The Monitor was creating these Elseworlds to prepare for a Crisis he believes is coming. The monitor is playing with fire. if he thinks lex luthor can help. He can't be trusted. He never believe in anything but himself. He will never fight and die for cause even when joined the justice league he never truly believe in their ideals and what the league stand for. He never surrender for something bigger than himself. He can see the machinations of the universe but he sees himself as the center. That's why superman has always beat him. The Batman who laughs sees these flaws in Lex Luthor. He's ego is his greatest weakness.

I believe he will. The Monitor wanted to test him with this challenge, and he passed. This challenge was a crucible, and it forced J’Onn into what the Monitor needs. Whatever that will be.

I believe they will. They used it on Batwoman and Supergirl. If the pattern repeats (and it will), it’ll likely repeat on The Flash (obviously), and Arrow, with a possibility of the scene popping up on Black Lightning, but noting they’re not actually contributing an episode to the crossover - only BL himself - I’d say it’s less likely but still possible.
