Although I prefer the climax with the flutes, I respect what they were going with. Considering Consul M's iteration of Mio was never an offseer and the iteration of Mio we experienced was, it would seemingly confirm the idea the only reason the flute played was a sly hint we were fighting our Mio.

The OST has a separate M version of this track, which I haven't heard yet but probably has the M climax with flutes.

@@arlynnecumberbatch1056I've finished the OST now. The normal theme uses M's climax version without flutes and M's theme uses the regular M climax with flutes. Unfortunately, the action climax isn't used at all, and I'd prefer that to be featured in this regular version, but we did get the unused area theme in the middle of them, so that's nice. I expect someone will eventually make a version of this where the climax is replaced, if they haven't already.

The full version goes hard. Didn't expect this (new?) nice transition part that works really well at 2:57, and especially that final (new?) awesome part at 7:08

The part at 2:57 is actually an unused Moebius theme kzfaq.info/get/bejne/na1_lrannbHXiqc.htmlsi=Q1OHv39jFhH6kheV And the part at around 7 minutes in is just M’s climax theme but without the flutes.

Oh, they removed the Action Climax part. They could've easily separated this theme into two tracks and have the first part end on Action Climax

Nope, the linking segment of music i actually in the game files, but it goes unused, which I think makes sense since it wouldn't really fit in the flow of combat very well. I do wish it was used as a cut scene track as a pre-fight intro, it's so good.
