We buy what we don’t need and don’t teach our children to have limitations, think how much exercise do our children get , or fresh air , ask one to do something around the house , like cleanup or take out the trash ,or eat at home ……….. home cooked meals……. Mom , Dad ? Cel phones worth so much money , play station , etc.

We need to say no ,don’t buy homes that are out of reach for you to pay off within 10 or 15 year’s , fancy cars on credit, with interest sky high , clothes that wear out almost when you get them washed for the first time , and don’t forget the children’s cloths you buy them by the designers name , what about buying a handbag for thousands of dollars and you only carry a few dollars and change and of course your credit cards of almost every department store, OUCH! Sounds like mea few years back, we can change , start Now.

Ah.. a breath of fresh bleak ! 78, I know lfe is what we make it. My family have all worked hard for what they have, we've had the crap knocked out of us a number of times and we usually end up laughing our way to better mental health. Life can be so ridiculous, the worst things happening but we look around and it and the people in it are funny ! My best wishes for happiness and contentment to you and yours. That takes work. 👋 Nobody said life's a picnic but it's all yours and ya makes yer choices...and the hell with us if we can't take a joke !

@@saythankyou111 Since the financial crash of 1990s we have a debt created economy which is at crises level created by billionaires by transfering billions abroad disguised as aid. Now they want a ww3 to cover up their plunder. People need to understand what is being done in their name!
@cattymajiv

@@saraswatkin9226 This has been the case since long before the 1990s! To a very large extent people have done it to themselves by living on credit, and living way beyond their means. It should be and is obvious that that won't work. Greed is a huge part of it too. Your claim about WW3 is insane. It might come because of Putin, but you won't be happy until you let go of the crazy right wing conspiracy theories. Obviously you need to spend more time with normal people, instead of Trumpist fanatics.

These old films tell a good story. A plot you don't need a map to find. I love a good story, well told. Seen enough ridiculous sex scenes and loud explosions and car chases to last the rest of my life. I love the slices of life in the past, too. The fashions, the furnishings, the machinery and the old cars. Rush hour then is not what it is now! I don't mind old cars in the car chases. They can be rather comical.

I saw an article a while back that said Americans are doing worse financially today than they were during the Great Depression, primarily due to the fact that the value of our dollar has significantly declined. Now, even middle class families have trouble buying groceries. These are disturbing times despite being gaslit by politicians and media outlets that everything is better that it was a few years ago.

@wendybutler1681
@wendybutler1681 Ай бұрын
In some of those old apts and homes there were doors on every room of the house. Not sure if it was the style of the times or a holdover from an earlier age. One would close off the rooms not in use to save on heating costs. Which brings to mind the black mold that comes in closed off, damp spaces and the smell of mildew.

Wildly disagree. It's the only pure comedy role Garfield ever had on screen and he commits himself admirably. I wish he had done more in that genre. Excellent as he was in dramatic roles especially Four Daughters, Humoresque, and Body and Soul, he owned a sense of humor which unfortunately had never been tested but merely suggested in isolated moments. He's still my favorite actor. I just love him.

Spanish was the language of government, education and trade throughout the three centuries of the Philippines being part of the Spanish Empire and continued to serve as a lingua franca until the first half of the 20th century. It was first introduced to the Philippines in 1565, when a conquistador founded the first Spanish settlement on the island of Cebu. The Philippines, ruled first from Mexico City and later from Madrid, was a Spanish territory for 333 years (1565-1898).
