DDG spoke to VladTV about crossing over from his KZfaq vlogging fame to doing music, which he said can be a difficult task. The ton of the interview soon turned somber after DDG spoke about losing his brother 4 years ago to street violence.
DDG explained that his brother called him to see if he needed a ride the night he died, adding that it could've been him in the car the night his brother was murdered. To hear more, including why DDG doesn't believe in the "stop snitching" movement when it comes to a loved one being murdered, hit the above clip.

If you’re hip to the streets at all, you know that him trying to get closure for his brother as a civilian isn’t snitching in any sense. Then again, opening a case like this might reveal things from his brothers past. I have many family members lost to violence, and I found out that most of them rolled like some savages out there.
