Hope you forgot to add alter before use rename command while writing Syntax of rename. Please don't make this silly mistake .You are doing a great job.But for this mistake make sure noone will suffer

I performed 'change' option but it gave me error=ora - 01735. In order to rename the table name(for example table1 to table2) we can just write RENAME table1 TO table2 ; using that command it renames the table name. :)
