I'm 38, and I still struggle with whether I should still go for my wrestling dream. I don't want to fail the 14 year old ME, that wanted to do this so bad. It will never go away, until I DO IT! Don't want to be to old, with regret..

As long as you're in decent shape it shouldnt be a big issue. I'm a similar age and thought about the same thing. It won't hurt to try it. Go find a good wrestling school and see how it goes. Even if you just do some indie shows, at least you can look back and say you did it.

I could listen to Dallas tell stories and wisdoms forever. DDPY has changed my life and has been my lifeline during a very tough time, still is, and it is slowly helping me becoming the best me. Once you commit to it and once you begin to own your life, you just see a different world. Thank you both DDP and CVV. Love you guys.

Does DDPY feel like cardio or weight training
@PB-km7sg
@PB-km7sg Күн бұрын
@@chetwilson Honestly it depends on the DDPY workout you do :) There are 350+ Workouts in the app. There are workouts in the app which are more for Cardio and workouts which are more for building strength, but all of them combine both elements. It is only that you use your own weight and no extra weights. Just recently they added BFR training with the Powercuffs, which is actually weight training, but you only need to lift a third with the Powercuffs (Blood-flow Restriction) and have the same results as lifting without BFR. I didn't do the Powercuff Workouts yet, as I didn't buy the Powercuffs yet. I've done a lot of different sports for long periods of time in my life. As a kid I've played soccer for about 2 years. I've been a self-defense trainer in Atemi Combat System (Anti-Terror Fighting) and Jiu Jitsu for about 6 years, been doing those two sports for 8, I've been jogging regularly, swimming regularly, I went to the gym consistently for about 9 months straigth 3-4 times a week. And then... I stopped doing sports for about 13 years more or less. I can tell you from experience, that none of the sports I did were giving me such a complete workout as DDPY does. Ever since I started doing DDPY, I've made so much progress fitness wise and mentally. Currently I'm doing it daily for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours because not only do I love it so much, but I can really feel (and also others told me) see the difference. DDPY is not only a fitness program but a lifestyle. It combines Yoga positions, Old-School Calisthenics, Dynamic Resistance and Sports Rehab Therapy. This combination strengthens muscles, ligaments and tendons, while stabilizing core muscles, increasing flexibility, agility and balance. Oh and the beginner workouts are nothing compared to the other workouts in the app. So if you try out the app which you can do for free for 7 days, don't think, the 20 to 30 minute workouts were it all. I've felt once I've had rebuild my endurance and started doing the 40 to 60+ minute workouts, they were kicking my butt in the beginning while showing me that DDPY has so much more to offer. Everyone should do it. It turns out it is the best you can do for yourself fitness wise and in general. I went through a sudden breakup and without DDPY I don't know if I would have made it through those tough times. But I kept working it and it turned that adversity into oppertunity and growth.

I keep telling myself that it's just waiting for the right ears, that or I'm just destined to fail but that's no way to look at thing especially when Lord knows the talent is begging to be tapped into and given the one shot, one opportunity to lose itself in the music.
