I don’t think it’s as bad as the numbers suggest, he shot worse at the rim at 52% opposed 58% last year but he made 37% of his threes this year opposed to 32% last year. Obviously the FG drop is a little concerning but overall not that bad considering he’s naturally a slasher but if he can continue to develop the 3 point strike he’ll be able to consistently bring defenders above the 3pt line. That’ll create more blow bys, easier finishes at the rim and even more playmaking opportunities. I think it’s natural at this time.

@@dtp_drip2659so he didn’t shoot 52 percent at the rim, or 58 last year. That’s his overall % on 2 pointers total. At the rim, or 0-3 feet, he shot 72 percent and 80 percent last year.

I thought he was better this past season. His defense improved a lot. He's a 2 way star guard to me. Plus no help from the starting role players that's all. They need more consistency from them.

It's incredibly difficult to say he's not a player that contributes to winning basketball when nearly every team he's been on is hurt and/or rebuilding. He's had two chances on winning teams (in 9 seasons). Ran into the defending Champion Bucks, and I believe they lost the Play-In game vs. Cleveland last season.
