Bonds of Fate:
Bonds of Fate is a script for a fanmade Ace Attorney game that takes place 2 years after Spirit of Justice. This will be like a transcript/ walkthrough of the game. It features the return of many old characters. This isn't a parody, this is what I would actually write if I was allowed to make the next Ace Attorney game. This includes a new interface for investigations where you have multiple companions and a new mechanic called The Charisma Challenge.
Turnabout Onsen:
Life has been rough for some of the women at the Wright Anything Agency. Trucy is exhausted after finishing her first year at Sehrhart. Maya is sad because Pearl left Kurain Village. Athena is shaken up because of a near-death experience. Rai and Franziska try to remedy this by inviting them to come along to the Auchi Onsen. At the Onsen, they run into a free Iris. While she is still kind, she is now more cynical after her time in prison. The group's R&R is cut short when a patron of the Onsen is discovered dead. Iris is arrested for the murder. For personal reasons, Iris refuses to let Phoenix defend her again, so now it's up to Athena and Trucy to take up her defense. Can their mix of special talents be the key to winning the trial and finally giving Iris her happy ending?

And then Dick Gumshoe killed De Killer because the literal entire state of Japamerica was on a manhunt specifically because he was preventing the justice system from running properly. The last thing De Killer heard was "Trust me, I had my budget when I got Matt Enguarde. They gave me all of it just for you... as well as a good cup of coffee."

Imagine if De Killer is forced to be a prosecutor because there are no prosecutors left and nobody is training out of fear, so then De Killer commits suicide.

Ah, shame Franziska gave into terrorism, and spit on the graves of all the prosecutors who perished. Not even to avenge her sister. When confronted about this, all she had to say was "Well, I was just shot, so..."

I mean, if you read Bonds of Fate (which I hope you do. I worked hard on them and I want as many people to read them as possible) then you would know Charlotte had the mentality that protecting your loved ones is more important than bringing a criminal to justce. She actually expressed the belief that Edgeworth should have immediately dropped the charges against Matt Engarde in order to save Maya's life. Charlotte wouldn't want Franziska to put her life in danger just to avenge her. Now I'll do a little word of god for this video. Charlotte was only there to protect Franziska. She didn't like that Franziska kept stubbornly putting herself in danger, so she went there to drop the charges against Matt Engarde in order to protect her sister. Unfortunately, De Killer was unaware of her intentions, and shot her dead. Charlotte's death caues Franziska's worldview to shift and she ends up going to go finish what her sister started.

I mean, Phoenix did just recently end a 40-year undefeated streak and he was nearby. Also, Kristoph being corrupt isn't common knowledge before his arrest. It's not like he passed out business cards saying" Kristoph Gavin, Corrupt Attorney"

How I would fix Edgeworth 1. When Franziska is shot have him visit the hospital and prosecute the case on Franziska's behalf 2. Have more playable characters in Trials and Tributations like have a case from Franziska's PoV for example to showcase her skills. 3. Just not have him appear afterwards as much as he did. You could skip the first investigations game and you wouldn't lose anything for Edgeworth Development

I would replace #1 with this: Franziska does not get shot. Her getting shot wasn't necessary for the story, it only happened because they wanted to bring Edgeworth back. The Matt Engarde trial was the perfect opportunity for character growth for her and they squandered it to keep shoving their generic golden boy down our throats. The vast majority of my problems with Edgeworth would be rectified if he became a side character after the first game.

Franziska: Has a unique backstory, has complex trauma, and has a lot of unexplored depth in her personality. Edgeworth: Has the most generic tragic backstory, has the personality of cardboard, and his development usually amounts to "I have a new mentality when it comes to prosecuting." Franziska is basically objectively more interesting than Edgeworth. This is only contestable because the writers tipped the scales in Edgeworth's favor so much.
