As an AZ Alkmaar supporter it was a fair result . and good to see that the competition is and has been very entertaining so far . But the competition is not over yet still 12 games to go . After beeing cheeted by the KNVB in 2020 with covid AZ alkmaar deserves another championship.

@@kalungx8 Great academy and financial mamagment after the previous owner disaster. Making tons of money on every player they buy , 2 milion maximum and selling them 10 fold . And litteraly creating many internationals . Its a bit of the silent power in dutch football they had some unfortunate events , but always consistant , they havent lost a home game in european competition in 23 games. THey are one of the highest coeficiency point scorers in the league , They only lost one game at home in regular competition that was feyenoord coincendently , Beating them at home in regular time is near imposible. And they are not stuck to one player scoring goals . as almost every one has 1 or more goals to their name. THe current manager of Feyenoord was the previous manager of AZ alkmaar, he even has former AZ alkmaar players in his feyenoord team like Idrissi , Yankabash . Taaibouni . etc . Ajax bought several AZ players as well this season . Its quite amazin how many pro clubs are in north and south holland combined . sadly one whent bust to poor financials and empty promises of the city council that coused the financial ruin . FC Haarlem . But still ADO Den haag , Ajax , AZ alkmaar,Dordrecht, exelsior , Feyenoord , Sparta ,Telstar ,Volendam . You can make half a competition out of them , If Haarlem still existed it would be half . Not bad for a region that is just 120 km apart and having this many pro clubs , with most with in 20 km of each other .
