Is the plywood bulkhead in the stern simply temporary for lifting to speed up production rate.Cheers Ross

Yes, the plywood is put in place to add support as the hull is being lifted.

I wish Balance would move production to asia so they cut labor costs and make their boats available to more people.

Asia would not be any cheaper than South Africa. The only way we could cut our costs would be to cut our quality. You can either use South Africa or Asia to build a low cost modest quality catamaran or a very high quality catamaran and the most competitive price. We elected to do the later. Phil

@@balancecatamarans I'm apt to believing you. After all, Seawind moved their production to Vietnam and their cats are not noticeably cheaper.
