Respect to Roberto we’re not where we want to be in the league but you shouldn’t throw away what you’ve built so quickly Tony knows this as does Roberto, he could have easily accepted the Liverpool job but he’s sticking with us…truly thank you for all you’ve done with us RDZ 👊🏻😁

All he's said is that he's not made a decision either way yet. He also wasn't offered the Liverpool job, so there was no offer to accept. I hope he stays, but there's no guarantees.

I think if he rides it out he can achieve even greater things with this club and I'm sure the fans and players will want him to stay.

Love Roberto and for what he has brought and will go down as a legend. But he signed a contract fully aware the club signs players not the manager and unfortunately if he isnt happy with that I wish him the best in his next job

I think what I want Roberto to understand is that we, as Brighton fans, have plenty of patience. There is always afew who are ridiculous, but as a whole we are sensible and know what we have. The whole process of getting to where we are has been a process of patience and appreciation for what we have. But as a coach, you need to have that patience too. A season like this illuminates the way forward, you never lose, you win or you learn. Not long ago people were saying Klopp was finished. Liverpool looked lost at sea. Time, hard work, and patience will see them possibly win the league this season. DeZerbi has always seemed in a bit if a rush, as if he knows he has limited time here, and that comes through, and it's not a good way, for him, for us, and for the players. I think, along with injuries and a lot of games, the uncertainty about his future has also been part of what has upset the teams confidence. Sometimes things come easier when you let go of the angst to have it all now. But it requires patience. Roberto might be here next season, I hope so. But to really get the work that needs doing done, in the right way, you need to commit. Not for a season, or two, but for as long as it takes, without deadlines and without anxiety about time or future plans. It's the only way you can truly focus. Only Roberto knows if he has, or can have, that mentality at this club. But I am certain that, if he wants to really succeed here, that is what is needed.

💯 and people need to remember premier league football was a dream, how many clubs have one season in the prem and get relegated after that, 5 years in the prem and people are moaning cause we might not get Europe

Brighton needs to invest in top notch medical staff if these injuries keep happening

I dont think it is that easy. The squad consists of very yound and rather old players. The first group needs to get used to the intensity whereas the second group can no longer deal with the highest intensity. However, De Zerbi's approach needs fine tuned automatisms that require alot of training while the load on the players futher increased through the Europa League. Then, the injury of one player increases the load on another player which again leads to more injurys, which leads to switches in position, which needs adaptation and more training. Hence, causing more injurys. It turns into a vicious cycle. Injury risk should be reduced by: 1. Training less, but more effective. RDZ can improve in his ability to transfer his ideas to players, without exhausting them on the training pitch. 2. Working with the same players for a prolonged period of time. If the players know what RDZ demands, they can adapt from game to game without training as much. Baleba, for example, needs months to understand the style of play. Meanwhile, Gilmour and Gross have to play every match because the alternatives such als Caicedo and MacAllister were sold. So, the sales of key players requires new players to come and learn the principles while the remaining players are overplayed. Brighton wants to sell the key players that blossom the most under the manager which makes it difficult to counteract this factor.

Look around every team has injuries. It’s how good the squad is that makes the difference
@lapos1979Ай бұрын
We already have, I mean these are the guys that somehow got Danny Wellbeck back playing regular football! So it's a worryhow many injuries we're getting. Roberto's style is intense as was our fixture list.

Ty Roberto, 🇮🇹 proud❗ Sometimes I relisten that vocal to Adani in which you express you love for football‼️ And I love that black Nike t-shirt❗

Recently he’s starting to get on my nerves. This is all about BHA FC not you & your ego. Show some integrity or you can jog on.

He is frustrated, As any good coach would be in his position. But i'm glad some sensible people are saying it's about BHA FC. and not Bloom FC.

@@WWolfPCGamingshut up, we'd still be at that shit hole called Withdean if it wasn't for Tony Bloom, who has ploughed £440m of his own money into the club he owns and genuinely supports.

Training too intense.....rinsed Mitoma and Pedro in facup games......said wanted to go for all 4 competitions....madness. Tactics and team in Rome was unforgivable...then blames Bloom and Club. Now - he realises he won't get a big job - and is backtracking. Not good form. BHA is one of the top 20 jobs in Europe.....and his ego recently dissed it like we were some tintop club. We're better off with a grounded and pragmatic Scandinavean / German.
