Finally a chase theme that doesn't completely deviate from the previous layers

Third layer sounds like an alarm warning of a threat coming. Chase music sounds more like the alarm is frantically beeping like a hospital monitor I'd also wanna say fourth layer would be perfect for the Survivor if they were exposed

In my opinion, this entire theme perfectly captures Singularity's story as a whole. I feel like a theme at *32 meters* isn't even supposed to be "frightening" or "intimidating". In fact it's actually very calm, and rather mysterious. In my eyes, this is supposed to be the part when the Singularity, Gabriel Soma, and their crew dispatched on that planet. It's mysterious, unknown, hostile. Nothing is known about it, aside from the fact that there was a different civilization before. However, since it's an entire crew with multiple AI support robots, there is this brief feel of calmness and safety, as if there is hope nothing would happen. The mysterious part, in my opinion, is directly related to the ruins of an ancient civilization that lived here before. The unknown draws in; the urge to explore and find out more slowly gets stronger and stronger. That's when our Hux-A7-13 stumbles into those ancient ruins in order to learn and explore more. And that's when the next happens... Theme at *16 meters* shows us the enlightenment, the *awakening* of the Singularity. How it became self-aware, and filled with pure disgust and despise towards humans - its creators. We can hear a build up in the rhythm, as if the Singularity starting it's new mission - freeing "organics" from their pathetic chains, as well as *building* its own new, perfect body. As the music slowly builds up, Hux-A7-13 continues it's mission by killing the crew almost one by one, dismantling other AI units, and going as far as killing one of the crew members by pretending to be "obedient" again, only to mutilate her later, making it seem as if the flora or fauna of this planet attacked the poor scientist. And as the music still continues to build up, the Singularity continues to *build* its perfect body. Theme at *8 meters* is when everything gets revealed, and to none other than Gabriel Soma. The beeping sound, which can be easily compared to an alarm, to a warning could be a direct resemblance of an alarm going off on a space ship or station, warning others about an approaching danger. This warning message gets to Gabriel, and it is now entirely up to him what happens next. However, Hux-A7-13 is already on its way to claim Gabriel's life, meaning that he is already being hunted. That's where that increased and intense rhythm comes in, indicating it. The ever falling and growing pitch can be compared to a cat and mouse chase: as Gabriel is on the run from the Singularity, it stalks his every move, getting closer, which is where the pitch increases, and as Soma getting a bit further ahead from Hux-A7-13 due to his endurance, which can be heard in the pitches going down. This rising and falling symphony captures the tension of hunting someone and being hunted by *something*. And at last... The *chase* starts. It was inevitable, bound to happen. It was only a matter of time before the Singularity had gotten to the last member of the crew. And with that chase theme playing, both hunter and prey were consumed by the fog, where their chase continues (buuuuut to put it very shortly, I just really love this entire theme a lot ^^)

I’m probably in a minority here, but I think this chase music works really well for this specific killer. The sound of an alarm actually fits with the whole robot killer thing.

16 meters is so aggressive I love it, I want to be afraid while playing this game and few killer themes do that for me!

Way better the Skull Merchant's! Also i absolutely love the way that 16 meters sounds. Also i freaking love how this thing actually has a voice. And when it grabs you in the mori animation, it says "it will be fast. possibly painless." Also when stunned by a pallet, it says "Surprising for an inferior lifeform."

The alarm clock sounds exactly like the alternate theme of demogorgon’s chase music that was changed out many years ago because everyone hated the alarm clock. I’m sure they will change it.

I wish the 3rd and 4th layer were more complex and not the same few notes over again with a beep sound put in there, I miss the killer themes being a bit more complex when they are in the 3rd and 4th layer wesker was the last killer to not have this problem

I genuinely think in the chase music the alarm shouldn’t just be a constant rapid half beep. It should be a half beep then a full beep, to make it sound like the alarm is breaking down

The beeping in Layer 4/Chase is not it. It sounds okay in Layer 3/8 Meters, like a warning that he's approaching, but its just a little too incessant to be good in my opinion.

To people who see this: The reason you don’t match up with this killer in games is NOT because it “isn’t fun” it’s because the killer has a learning curve and is time consuming to master. He’s not meant for casual killers and requires finesse. For people who “just want to play and not think” THE SINGULARITY can be off-putting and chase casual killers away to pick someone like LEGION or GHOSTFACE. He IS FUN but you need to THINK when you use him. That is why you don’t see him often.

I like the alarms in this one. First alarm is definitely a warning that a cyborg meatball wandering around. Second one is that meatball just broke the button in half life's we've got hostiles chapter and you need to get to the door before the meatball shoves you on the ground and takes your lunch money

I actually like this as a rouge A.I kinda of theme, it works really well as an 'isolation' kinda of theme but personally layer 4 might need something to it to make it a bit more 'tolerable' as it bugs me a bit and doesn't feel smooth like the other main chase themes we've had. Other than that small part, this perfectly fits the singularity.
