I think that the first skin that you receive when playing the boss rush, is a little more similar to the appearance of the giant than his own skeleton skin, perhaps now with the giant's new flame head it could be a kind of "cosplay"

It’s really sad to say, but... I think some of the boss head are actually the worst ones. And a lot of the more basic “flame” themed heads look much better. I think the problem is that with the way the character is animated, the fiery visual effect fits extremely well with the movement of the body. And a number of the boss heads do not have a lot of animations to them, so they kind of look like a static art asset that’s just floating there and feels weird. The most obvious one is with the Time Keeper head, where it is almost completely still and feels like a flat, forward-facing sprite that you’d see in some old PS1-era game. (It also has this weird appearance where it looks like they forgot to apply the 3D light engine effects to it. If you’ve ever seen footage of the mobile version of Dead Cells, where they had to remove the character lighting system to make it work on iOS / Android, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.) Anyway, this update is still amazing nonetheless. The fact that they’re _still_ expanding this game with new systems of gameplay is so cool. I still remember how big of an impact they made with outfits when they first introduced the Tailor’s Room in Rise of the Giant, and it launched with _51 outfits_ right out the gate. And now we have customizable head choices, too. Call him “The Beheaded” is even more fitting now. Since my PC died earlier this year, and I don’t currently have the means to buy a new one, I’ve been considering getting the mobile version of Dead Cells and going back to the very beginning and experiencing the game all over again with a fresh save. Despite having played the game since the Brutal Update in late-2017, I’ve not actually gone back and started a new save file at any point, so I haven’t had the “new player experience” for a long time. And now there’s _so much_ more content in the game, it’s going to be such a joy to do everything again. I really hope this update gets finished relatively soon, and hopefully they’re able to launch it on all platforms by the end of the year. Mobile hasn’t even gotten the Clean Cut update yet, so mobile players can’t even play with the new scissors and comb weapons either.

something i don't like about the concierge head is the way it tilts awkwardly when you're running. it should just be facing forward and letting the flame trail backwards. i mean, they did that for the giant head, so it's a weird choice

Did you test if any of the Blob heads deal damage when you attach it to a mob? Applying Poison or Burn by attaching the Acid/Magma head sounds like a cool mechanic. Im guessing they dont, but any confirmation would be cool to know. :D

The mushroom boi! Head is for going through dilapidated arboretum with out exploding the mushroom boi pet. You can kill the jerkshrooms inside of the level as long are you don’t explode the pet. Just reset runs until mushroom boi is in your starting vats, speedrun to dilapidated arboretum, then speedrun out of dilapidated arboretum. You should get it by doing that. Also it’s a 🍄/10.

Try the Robin Hood Outfit with the Horde Zero Hood, it's actually a 9/10 combo and looks very neat!

You might need to just kill everything else but the mushroom boys

You need to have the mushroom boi skill and not sacrifice it with its secondary activation in the aboretum.
