There's nothing quite like seeing Dead & Company live on a hot summer night in the company of thousands of friends and family. We know, and we hope to see you on the road soon! But for the in-between moments, the cold winter nights, and the slow days at work, the official Dead & Company KZfaq channel is here as a souvenir of the musical magic that Bob, Mickey, Bill, John, Oteil, and Jeff make on stage. We'll be uploading new videos every Wednesday and Friday to complement our live album releases on Fridays. Subscribe now so you don’t miss a thing! While you’re here, drop us a line in the comments and let us know how you're feeling, share our videos with other heads, and most importantly, keep on groovin' until we meet again....
If you can't make it to a show, join the party from home with the live webcast on nugs.TV livedead.co/
Dead & Company was formed in 2015 when the Grateful Dead’s Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Bob Weir joined forces with artist and musician John Mayer, Allman Brothers’ bassist Oteil Burbridge, and Fare Thee Well and RatDog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti. The result was one of the most successful touring bands of the decade. The inaugural tour kicked off in the fall of 2015 with two sold-out shows at the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York City and ended with two sold-out performances at the ‘Fabulous’ Forum in Inglewood, California.
Since then, the band has completed five tours, playing to more than 1.5 million fans, and has become a record-breaking stadium act. Dead & Company has headlined iconic stadiums across the country including Folsom Field, Autzen Stadium, Citi Field, Fenway Park and Dodger Stadium. Additionally, the band broke Wrigley Field’s all-time concert attendance record in 2017. Dead & Company’s 2018 Summer Tour ranked in the top 25 of the Top 100 Worldwide Tours and for the past two years, their Summer Tours ranked in the top 15 of the Top Global Concert Tours.

After being at this show live then watching this, all I can say is if you weren't at the show live don't talk crap. I know that some people couldn't make it or didn't want to go, and that's fine; but this show sounded way better than the livestream makes it out to be. Hell, anything will sound worse coming from your phone, your tv, or even a home soundsystem.

@@gregorythomas2674 Mayer is a meager guitarist. There are so many other much better musicians playing in small clubs, for free in Paris, etc. that this embarrassing cover band is bogus. Bobby's Wolf thing is very good and Phil's band is great. Branford Marsalis' group blows them away; one of many brilliant groups.

@@namcat53 Phil's band is great I do agree. Seems like Mayer is the only guy that filled the stadiums. Many others have tried and failed. But if they can find someone busking on the Champs Elysees lets plug them in! The music will live on! Some rise, some fall, some climb....

One of the crucial things Steve Jobs told Tim Cook on his deathbed was: “Don’t try to do things the way you think I would have done them. Do your own thing, trust your instincts.” I think Jerry would love this version of TOG, for similar reasons.
