Dude, thank you so much for making this video. I had a row of green pixels across my laptop screen and I was about to pay a computer repair store 150 dollars to put in a new screen! After about 5 minutes, my eyes got quite sore, so I look away, and when I look back, the screen is fine!

Thank you for the info. I have some dead pixels that show up and mostly go in a vertical line. The horizontal lines were gone after I turned on my computer another day. So I got those out of the way, but not the actual dead pixels. Thank you!

thats usually damage (not always) as a result of age or extreme vibration (like a drop) that makes the connectors at the base of the screen loose, causing lines to flash. This is usually not repairable. Dead pixels are just a very, very, very small dot or color that wont go away/wont light up. hope this helps

pixels that are stuck in one color are color are called "stuck pixels".Flashing colors really fast usually gets the thing to wake back up.

When you buy a 2000 dollar monitor and it comes with a dead pixel...

80" inch 4k screen. I have one dead pixel, but I can only tell sitting 1"inch from the screen, or concentrating really hard to find it.

Holy crap! The flashing actually fixed the pixel. o_o I just got this monitor and it had a dead pixel. MSI has a policy that they wont allow exchange unless its more than 4 that are dead. Complete BS. But this helped, Thanks.

sadly I have one dead pixel but it's really hard to see like it's basically not visible even though it has a 3- year dead pixel warranty idk if I should get it replaced cuz it's fine.

I don't understand how this work, my problem: when I'm not full screen I have 2 pixels that are red, one is only red on very dark backgrounds and one only on very bright backgrounds. But when I go full screen neither of them show a wrong colour, the pixel that can't turn black will be black and the pixel that doesn't turn white will be white. Does anyone know what this is?

no dead pixels but there is a horizontal line about 50 pixel wide that i think has a slower refresh rate? than the rest of my screen is that a thing? idk what happened or how to fix it. do i need to just get a new screen is it even fixable

i have a single pixel that is stuck to blue when its black near bottom middle right of centre of my screen. and a different pixel issue closer towards the bottom right when at white. it wont really bother me much but i hate buying new stuff to find theres even a small issue with it
