I hope it conveys even a fraction of how much fun we were having during this very brief, very magical, and very funny time for all of us.

The funny thing is that Ethan wanted to be Neil and Robert wanted to be Todd because it suited their personality’s more but the director said that each should play the role they got because you have to think about who they become at the end of the film and Todd opens up at the end and Neil becomes secluded at the end

I've had a massive crush on Robert Sean Leonard since DPS and promised myself to meet him at least once in my life. Not easy when you live in Paris. I had to wait until 2016 to meet him in London when he played on stage in To Kill a Mockingbird. I waited for him at the exit and he was so nice and friendly. So thanks for posting this video. QUARTERMASTEREMI6 Yes, definitely! I really don’t like chasing actors and it wasn’t planned at all. We were just 3 people waiting for him at the exit. 10 minutes after I arrived, I saw him leaving on his own and I approached him, a bit scared. I told him that I had been following his career since DPS and that I came from Paris especially to see him. He said a few words in French and he asked if I wanted to have a picture. I was about to take a picture of him and he started laughing and said “ maybe you want to be on the picture with me?” Me: 🥴 yes of course! So someone took my phone and take a picture. He grabbed my shoulder, which I didn’t expect at all and that’s when I realized he smelled very good. Or he had just had a shower with a great shower gel. Then he thanked me for crossing the Channel and coming to see the play and he said he was going to take the metro back to his hotel. No limo, no taxi. Ah he’s the best 🤩

Robert leonard had a good career too, I mean he certainly wasn't a teen idol or a super popular actor,but come to think about it Robert managed to star in a cult movie and he also played a major role in house md which was a VERY popular tv show that is known worldwide, less than 1% of all actors and actresses can say they did something like that, actually very few can make a living out of it, let alone gain financial stability from it like Robert did, also he said he enjoys stage acting more than acting on screen so he focused more on that and he's a theater star who also won a tony award for his marvellous acting. He really does ‘have it’, ..you can see it clearly here. Perhaps it was more of a contract issue than lack of interest. The higher up you go, the steeper the demands. I know a few talented people who cut out when the spotlight was on- various reasons. Some people sail and some people get chewed up. It’s not all fame and glory. And you have to weigh it out within yourself whether to continue or not.

This footage was so nice to see. You can tell that you all genuinely got along with and enjoyed each other. I've been in TV and seen petty catfights and the rumors fly but when asked about them, "NO, we get along GREAT!" I laugh when I see Robert Sean Leonard's sweatshirt. DPS premiered around June of 1989 and that Sept. I was at Fordham University with a few of those sweatshirts in my closet as well (though I believe he left - probably to do DPS and other great work!) Thanks for taking me back to a special time and letting us see "behind the scenes"!

Bobby isn’t that different from Neil in my opinion, but Ethan is a polar opposite from Todd which is crazy how he could have such insight with acting as Todd when he’s so different from him

I like to think this is the end credits of DPS and after his Puck performance Neil left his father's home nd was supported by Mr Keiting (and Charlie for some reason) financially. This video is them jus supporting him in one of his many auditions. He becomes a Doctor and throughout his student years he stayed involved in acting. Later he reunites with his family. *Sniffs and Wipes tears*

Dead Poets society never felt like a movie, it felt like a real story and all you guys a real character. Hats off to all of you for putting so much life into it. And this video/vlog refreshed those memories again.
