Whoever didn't understand this song, let me break it down for you....they making fun of the 'so called' thugs who think they doing something, but they not. I was laughing through this video. Black people are known for doing this. Trying gain freedom yet setting ourselves up to losing it all.

Wow. You completely missed the point and don't understand. They're not making fun of poor black people trying to survive by any means. They're actually doing the opposite. They're showing what its really like to have no money and needing to hustle and break the law in order just to eat and pay the rent and what it's like for poor and black people and They're showing a lifestyle of rebellion and empowerment and showing that the only way to become free is to fight against the rules and society and be total rebels.

i was once talking to m1 .. and asked him .. if they finally had overcome their racism! he looked at me as if he never heared before that he is a racist lol! i love dead prez .. but as long as they dont realize that everyone is a pawn in this system .. they are lost! eigther your are a child of god .. or you a child of the system! its one you to decide!

It's about taking advantage of the system. Child of god or not, we all gotta eat.

@@Gammera2000 Do you tell politicians, employers, people and such the same thing? I don't hate people but let's face. Can you tell people how to be? If someone shows hate first what do those people expect in return? A pat on the back?

Ok, I hope someone can help me out, because I'm a bit confused. I read the comments on here... Most people think Dead Prez are justifying the type of lifestyle shown in this video. I was hoping that maybe the video is a parody of the way many people in the ghetto live. It seems like a parody from the way they act in the video. If this is the case, then Dead Prez's message is that people should NOT live like this...???

what a terrible song (I don't mean technically, I mean the subject matter)
