They really fucked it up... like totally fucked, the story's all over the place, no overtime mode, no multiple endings, no interesting psychopath boss fights and replace with random pointless survivors gone coo coo and worst of all, they brought Frank back in the normal storyline, just to kill him off...

This feels less canon than Off The Record.

You know it's bad enough that Capcom Vancouver basically gutted the core mechanics of the game to make it more appealing to a casual audience, but the fact that they kill off Frank in the ONLY ending you can get in the base game just so they can pass the torch to Vick is mind boggling. Vick has been an annoyance who caused the player nothing but grief throughout the entire events of Dead Rising 4. If it wasn't for her inability to keep herself out of the picture, Frank would have never been framed as a terrorist and they would have gotten away with the story intact. During the game she commits numerous morally ambiguous acts such as selling out survivors for info and forcibly interrogating non-combatants like Blackburn despite being perfectly willing to share what she knew in exchange for guaranteed safety. And at the game's climax she holds you at gunpoint, steals your camera filled with enough evidence to put an end to this government conspiracy, destroys the hard drive so you can't get your hands on it, then leaves your ass (yet again). The only time she's of any actual use is when she opens a door to the exosuit so you can fight Calder on even ground but outside of that she's just a self-righteous pain in the ass. I'll be damned if she ends up being a protagonist of a future installment of this franchise.

And again Dead Rising hits the Spot with his great,crazy style and his took off humor

I can see Frank being left there for one of the following reasons: 1. They were stupid enough to think Vick was a good enough character to replace him in a later installment of the franchise. 2. They're setting it up for endgame play after the credits. 3. The writers at Capcom Vancouver are so unimaginative that they had to leave Frank in Willamette in order to pen the stories for the DLCs .

did this really shock people? as soon as vick was introduced, i knew they were going to set her up to be the protagonist later on if they make anymore sequels.

How hard is it to notice that during the final battle with Calder you can hit right bumper to counter? It flashes every time he's going to attack. This was painful to watch.

Several bugs with this game, like not having any audio during the cut scenes and to top it off the subtitles disappeared later too. Thanks for this upload, wanted to actually see the cut scenes and all.
