@@SilentAssassin01234 Its not easy doing mirrors like that with many modern games, since they basically require a second render of the game world. So with general improvements to graphics, it will take an even bigger hit on performance.

@@SilentAssassin01234 when working mirrors were standard almost every game had baked shadows, so making a mirror was just replicating textures and models. Nowadays rendering the same thing twice would have a giant performance impact. RTX does that and most people don't care for it, idk why mirrors somehow are seen as such a priority when rtx isn't.

Es una manera de arreglar lo que dejaron atrás con sus anteriores remasters y ver si todavía hay interés en la franquicia después del desastre del dead rising 4. El remaster del primer dead rising no está mal pero tiene uno que otro error viniendo con esto a pesar de los beneficios . En el caso de los remaster del dead rising 2 y OTR , ahí sí que lo arruinaron e incluso son casi injugablea con la cantidad de errores y crasheos que dan esas remasterizaciónes. Ojalá cuando esté remake tenga éxito los de Capcom se dignen a darnos el remake del 2 y OTR como es debido con mejoras y por un equipo más competente.

OG Frank's better. While the remake clearly looks a lot better, there's something incredibly charming about the original game's look. Also, why does the Deluxe Remaster look so dark?

The original ran on one of the first iterations of MT Framework, the remake is running on RE Engine, and one thing they highlighted is the lighting engine has gotten a major upgrade, so it looks darker because the way the light interacts with the environment is closer to how light IRL works. The original didn’t use effects like real-time lighting or ambient occlusion.

@@BloodRedFox2008 This is a problem in a number of remasters where the developers are using modern graphics effects and lighting techniques that come at the expense of the original games art style, look, feel and character. Even if the engine's rendering here is more advanced and accurate the final result is not necessarily aesthetically pleasing to look at. This is disappointing as many earlier titles were made with a great deal of care and attention to detail in their art and visual presentation, and thus have a distinct and visually appealing look even if the graphics rendering is "inferior". I'm still hopeful this remaster will do the original game justice, but there are no guarantees with any of these game devs nowadays.

@@hayax that's cool you can play old frank but kinda sucks to be pre order exclusive though since I'll never pre order anything, I don't trust any company to deliver day one, pretty much every release these days requires at least a month of patches to work right and I'm not gonna pay money to be a beta tester.

I played OG one 2 years before, Loved it. Sure it has flaws like unable to move while aiming and 0 survival instincts of NPC you supposed to save. I'm gald this remake/remaster fixing them all. Can't wait to go back to the mall🤣🔥

It looks great for sure. I just wish that Capcom would get serious about getting RE Engine to render out hair better. Hair on RE Engine always has that jank wig like look to it. It never looks and behaves like real hair no matter what game the engine is being used on.

The Remaster camera is way too close to Frank and way too low. Once again, they're making this absurd mistake, and I won't buy it if it stays like this (Dead Rising is all about navigating zombies and finding routes, zooming in the camera is an IDIOTIC and game breaking choice. Haven't they learned yet?)

Interesting that the cutscenes largely remain the exact same, from the camera angles to the motion capture, the big change is the better facial animations. Hopefully this means modding TJs voice in will look smooth in cutscenes.

Wouldn't blame it on the engine, Ada for example is still really attractive in both RE2R and RE4R and those uses the same engine as this (most RE Engine games have attractive females in them tbh), so Isabella got redesigned to look like a granny somehow

Yes, the game originally was not going for "realism" because the game is a little goofy and doesn't take itself entirely serious. The visuals it provided were good enough to see things clearly and certain things were made to "pop" or stand out amongst other things. Overall it was much better and esthetically pleasing. Now they are trying to chase after "realism" and it has lost a lot of style and clarity in the process. Things are much darker and harder to distinguish one thing from another. It just looks so bland and generic

This and MGS Delta are the best way to handle a remaster correctly. I can't believe they kept everything from the original with the new graphics engine, i just hope the details are there like the Crowbcat video are also here.

This remaster (but pretty much remake graphic wise) for the most part is looking really solid. Graphically looks great, features look modernised but don’t get in the way of the original release, very faithful to the original and the price tag is only £40 which is looking to be an absolutely incredible deal. Excited for this.

Why is character's face on RE Engine games looked exaggerated and full of botox? The upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds is also having the same issue, they all seemed to have exaggerated jaw lines The only RE Engine game to avoid this weird look entirely was DMC 5.

Nice the game is definitely improved but I wouldn't say its a complete remake but in between remake and remaster they updated the game but not completely to the point where the game is Unrecognizable and I think the reason for that is they wanted to keep that Authentic look and feel the original game has the character models are improved but still Recognizable still dont like Frank West look but the other characters look like how they look in old game the mall looks improved and not just updated textures added lighting shadows which looks nice my final thoughts the game does look improved but I still think its not worth $60.00 at the most $40.00 I might still buy it at launch but im not sure but its cool that this game got updated with improved graphics

Man, this is a REAL REMASTER, no "remaster's" like GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition or other games. The Capcom gonna be very well.

Lo que hacía grande a dead rising no eran los gráficos si no las posibilidades de juego para su época, cosa que olvidaron en el DR4, si respetan las mecánicas y solo pulen la IA de los npc este podría juego será tan bueno como el original

The price of this game fell down drastically on pc after few years. They kept same price in 1 year then went down by 5 every 4th month.

@@PedroAlbertoMendozaMarroquin Eso nunca se sabe, milagrosamente el 4 tambien esta doblado al latino, y frank está doblado por el mismo actor que hace de buzz lightyear, voldemort, etc (olvidé su nombre) y ese actor no es nada mediocre, hay que ver el resto, no recuerdo muy bien porque lo jugué hace pila
