Please Note: Exploring Abandoned locations can be dangerous and deadly. I don't condone or encourage anyone to enter an Abandoned structure especially a mine or cave without proper safety gear and experience. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal and when possible, I seek out permission. I simply go to document its history before it's gone and leave things the way I find them. I assume all the risks & responsibility in doing so. Please don't attempt to do this on your own.

@@577buttfan Thought that was soooo cool when it came time to close and seal up the mine they decided to use one of the old coal carts to block up the entrance way. Outstanding !

Its crazy when you think about how much abuse the top and bottom rock goes through in these places.Bad enough blasting through once but coming back again to rob the pillars and roof, thats nuts!Imagine standing around the corner as that massive rock fall happened. I bet the whole slope shook!These men where the toughest people!God Bless the coal miners!

I get the feeling that is part of a massive mine and DEEP. Lot's of loose stuff, little sketch! Probably not a bad idea to place a couple ropes as the hike back up looked like one nice shift and you got slide, yikes! Awesome explore though, really distinct.

man !! i love your adventures and awesome places and treasures you find, but honestly when you go into these places that haven't been seen in many years how high is your worry about collapse or sudden slide from your moving around in there ? I'm sure your safe as you can be and know what your doing, but the risk factor has to be high ? I think i would be nervous every creaking or cracking noise i heard lol.... anyways thanks for taking us along, very cool brother

This one had me a little worried brother.Rock slide was on my mind a few times.Gotta stay low and near the side,tread light and feel with every step.It looks worse on the video than it really was.Also Phil has a pretty good eye on whats going on with the roof and mine.Hes been down in over 300 holes.

I found that exact same tiny glass bottle in a gold mine in Idaho. Now I really want to know what was in them. Maybe medicine of some kind, little tablets? I dunno, it intrigues me.

Maybe for holding old matches. I've seen that before. They'd light the old black powder fuses with naked flame matches.
