i know its kinda weird to drop a build guide so close to the expansion but i had this video ready for a while LOL, plus the theory can always be carried over and modified into whatever the expansion brings!!! im hype asf for it

Great build! 🔥 And with S3 jav will be even better! xD Spear/hatchet is a super strong combination. Actually was my secret weapon for arena and dueling for a long time. In medium with both weapons reducing stam cost and with stam on crit, it's busted. I use spear as a main and hatchet mainly for utility and social distance on weapon. Also with throwing hatchet. Jav + social distance is also a very strong cc combo at distance, I love it. No doubt it's in my top 5 of favorited builds/weapon combinations. Looking forward for ur update for S3 with this combo! 😁

Main'd this build for the past year and a half. Incredibly underestimated. Jav+Skew combo when available and throwing abilities for more dodges and debuffs. Everything just works together perfectly. Although jav perk on gear, skew perk on spear always. And Ref SD on hachet are musts.

javelin was the first ability i used when new world launched and i used it up until i stopped playing after reaching lvl 60. i got so good at hitting headshots with it but i can imagine i suck now after no practice haha

Running something similar in PTR with the new spear that pulls them its fun. Down side is if you get jumped its hard to get away even with defy death. Thoughts about PTR builds?

True! The Spear Artifact would make it harder to use Javelin defensively, and I haven’t tried much of the PTR yet!

@@LionAD I think after seeing it in action it will still maintain a lot of its defensive ability. It doesn’t pull to you it pulls like 10m in your direction, often flying right past you if they’re closer than that lol

have you figured out any interesting builds in ptr? ive found fns/bb(arti), vg(arti)/musket, rapier/bb|vg(arti), im hoping LS arti might open up some more VB builds

I can definitely see this being a good mix, unless you would choose to opt for Scorpion Sting the Spear artifact

Subbed for this, calling out people who play meta, sad how most meta stuff uses little to no skill. Where's the balance when someone can turn off their brain in pvp and still win?

Thank you for the sub! Yeah I always try to steer away from meta, dominating PvP with something broken doesn’t feel good at all
