As a 48yr old non surfing hobby guitar player.. i love watching these videos. If there were any waves nearby i'd be taking on surfing as a hobby. I did surf one time and manage to get some waves... surfing a short board, felt a lot like skateboarding (which i did for years).. Closest surf spot is Hosse Gore France... which is about a 1000km from my place. I really admire the balls, the commitment, skills, passion... Seems like a sport that truly builds character and qualities and a ton of fun at the same time.

My cat was asleep with her head resting on my wrist. The "AARGH" I emitted at 3:39 had her jumping off the desk. The following wipeouts were pretty fucking brutal too. I did not enjoy getting drilled into the bottom or hauled over the falls on waves less than half that size, so I can only imagine what those guys go through.
