3 years ago i went to one of his gigs and he started of his set with this song.. Listening to it gives me goosebumps and brings back the memories of the most epic gig I ever been to :) Joel rocks !!!

Big fan of City in Florida specifically and would personally speculate that you're hearing the aforementioned BPM similarity and also are recognizing the reverb accentuation that is certainly in relative timing.
