The ending sequence that you didn’t get was from Wolverine Origins. That was the first time Ryan Reynolds played Deadpool but they literally took away his mouth, so needless to say, it didn’t work. That’s why Pool is “cleaning up the time line”, he executed the mouthless version of himself

Now something that was crazy about this movie is that Ryan Reynolds voiced Juggernaut. Cable is the son of Cyclops and Jean Grey. Juggernaut is the stepbrother of Professor X. He got his powers from a magical gem he found in a cave in a foreign country. It's really cool to see him in some of the early X-Men cartoons. The helmet protects him from Professor X's mental powers. If you listen towards the end fight, Deadpool calls Cable Thanos. This was made about the same time as Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame were coming out. Josh Brolin played Thanos in both movies.

Was it Jean Grey or Madelyne Prior or whatever her name was? To be fair, she was a clone of Jean Grey, if I remember correctly… I might be getting Cable mixed up with another son of Cyclops… Or maybe an alternate reality version… I forget… Maybe I’m thinking of something from Age of Apocalypse specifically… Oh well… There’s so much crazy lore to get into with these things… Like Professor X’s son who went back in time and killed the professor in one reality… Legion?… I forget which story that was a part of… But yeah, rather than a bionic arm exactly, isn’t it actually a techno-virus type thing, which he is constantly using his psychic powers to stop it spreading or something? At least I think that was one version of Cable… Maybe I’m wrong… Ah well…

The joke at the end is from the terrible implementation of Deadpool, also played by Ryan Reynolds in Wolverine Origins. He couldn't speak, he wasn't funny, never broke the fourth wall and just served as the movie's scary boogieman for Wolverine to kill at the end. So like this movie is making things right before Marvel greenlit Deadpool and Wolverine, the next Marvel film and the first in the MCU where Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds get to play these characters that they're basically known as. They also made a Logan joke at the beginning, but I won't spoil Logan. Y'all need to see it.

39:06 This was Deadpool's first appearance in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) where they completely butchered the character. Days of Future Past (2014) then reset the X-Men series giving birth to a new timeline that allowed writers to keep whatever worked while also making changes such as giving Deadpool a new origin story. Funny enough the origin we see in X-Men Origins is actually closer to the comics with Wade voluntarily participating at the Weapon X program that gave birth to The Wolverine. But the character of Deadpool was just all wrong in that film.

A little detail that gets kind of glossed over: Juggernaut wasn't wearing a control collar... because his powers aren't from a mutation. Without getting really deep into it, he found a gem that gave him strength and invulnerability... then to make sure no one could take it from him, he swallowed it.

Also, when he gets his swords out and he mentions One Eyed Willie, the pirate from the film The Goonies, which also starred Josh Brolin as the older brother when he was a kid.

Fun fact is that when the team parachutes and everyone dies, the vanisher is actually Brad Pitt! If you freeze frame it you can see him and he is in the credits for the role :D

- Funny that Asia describes Cable as John Wick and The Terminator (T-101 as BJ said) because two out of a handful of abilities of Cable's is expert marksmanship and expert at hand to hand combat. - That big guy with the telekinetic-proof helmetnis Juggernaut, a long-time rival of the X-Men. - Josh Brolin worked out for Cable role. - X Force members are Bill Skarsgaard (It Chapter 1 & 2), Lewis Tan (2021 Mortal Kombat), and Rob Delaney (Key & Peele and Hobbes and Shaw). Yall already know Terry Crews, Zazie Beetz, and Pitt. Reynolds went to Pitt to see if he wanted to play as Vanisher. Pitt thought it would be fun. And so he truly did enjoy it.

Asia and BJ, if you’ve never seen the movie “The Temptations” it would be great to do a reaction to. It’s obviously about the music group, The Temptations from the 60’s. It’s how the group met, their rise to fame, and the band member’s life stories. I promise it’s very entertaining and the actors are phenomenal! It’s a bit of an emotional roller coaster but man what a great film!

In the Comic Books Cable is the son of Cyclops and Jean Grey, from the future. He also was added to the Xmen 2 fighting game and maybe Marvel vs Street Fighter and or Marvel vs Capcom.

"Time to sweep the leg, Johnny", is a Karate Kid Reference. If you see the movie, it'll make sense. At the end when he's "cleaning up the timeline", is a call back to "X-Men Origins: Wolverine".

The scene where he kills someone in front of wolverine is From an earlier movie where he played a different, terrible version of Deadpool There are a ton of deep dive jokes in this. One of my favorites is calling Cable "one-eyed Willy." Cable has only one real eye, but the name comes from The Goonies, in which Josh Brolin (the actor playing Cable) is a child searching for the treasure of One-eyed Willy the pirate.

Now you are ready to watch the Celine Dion Ashes music video. Juggernaut is Charles Xavier's stepbrother. In the comic universe the 616 his powers are magic based. Cable is the son of Cyclops and what turned out to be a clone of Jean Grey. He was infected with a techno organic virus as an infant, thus the metal arm. He was sent to the future so he would live. He has to use a portion of his power at all times to keep the metal virus from spreading any further. When he came back from the future he was older than his parents.

The deadpool that was killed during the hidden scene in the credits was from another marvel movie titled "The Wolverine". Comic book fans loathed that version of Deadpool. It was like the Comic Book Deadpool had been lobotomized and given a poorly conceived makeover. Ryan Reynolds played that Deadpool too, but hated it.
