Welcome to the Heavy Spoilers show, I'm your host Paul and this video we're breaking down Deadpool and Wolverine.

With the new trailer dropping yesterday I thought we'd take a second look to go over some theories we have about whats coming in the movie. There's a tonne of little clues and teases for things and in this video I wanna break it all down. Not gonna do a big intro I just wanna jump straight into it and talk about why I think we're gonna see Daphne Keene.

Now that line stands out a bunch to me because of the use of kid and the fact that Wolverines saying he's not a hero. Because we're dealing with alternate realities and versions of the character I think we're gonna go into the logan universe. This was teased during that very first trailer when we could catch Deadpool fighting in the woods. This looked like the same tree stump logan died on and Deadpool also threw three blades. Many people have thought this might actually be the claws from his corpse with Deadpool grabbing them and using them as weapons.
I think in this world we might also encounter X-23 who thinks that her hero has returned. Logan of course died saving her and her friends so she'd be over the moon to see him come back. I doubt Wolverine would be saying trust me kid I'm not hero to deadpool cos I cant see Deadpool getting called kid. Also doubt he'd think he was a hero cos Paradox has already explained what happened to his universe.
Now what that is is something we get teases to throughout with all the X-men clearly being dead. We pass what I believe are their grave stones with these being similar in design to the one for professor X.
Ryan Arey bloody Ryan Arey also pointed out theyre similar to the graves of days of future past with this being another time when the mutants were wiped out.

What if this Wolverine is from the timeline created when Deadpool killed the bad Deadpool in X-Men origins. No battle atop the smoke stack, no uneasy alliance with Sabertooth, possibly no shot in the head & loss of memory, X-Men origins just being a terrible movie and kept larger X-Men stories away from us because Hollywood was Wolverine obsessed?

1:15 For what it's worth, in the French version of the trailer, whoever he's talking to in that scene is male. He says "petit" and if he was talking to a woman he would've said "petite." You may still be right and it's simply that X-23 isn't alone in that scene and he's talking to one of the other kids. Or he just calls everyone kid because he's several hundred years old lol

The simplest explanation is usually the correct one. He’s talking to Deadpool (whom he also calls a “lady” in the trailer despite not being female). This video is over-speculating people not on the cast list. Thats how you get “Mephisto’d”.

5:22 The death of anchors/ Nexus beings causing incursions seems odd to me tbh: 1) how does one person's death affect the entire universe? 2) how does someone get assigned to be their universe's specific anchor? 3) are there multiple anchors throughout history, or do all/ most anchors just exist in the 21st century? If so, does that mean their universe is safe from incursions until that anchor is born?, etc.

Great Breakdown! Thank you for the spot on video as always! - Interesting take in the Wolverine being from Logan, as I feel like the snowy woods scene with Deadpool is actually from Avengers age of Ultron opening scene, but will see, you might just be spot on the money. - However my favourite theory for te portal at the end is that it is NED, as it is my exact thought as well, and onone else ever speculated to be him ( at least on other breakdowns ;) so kudos for this, lets hope we nailed it! For me if marvel want to stop spoliers just dont have influncers reviewers at the premiere. This film doesnt need that buzz its going to be an absolute hit. You know closer to the time after the premiere you will have the "theories" people fighting for clout. Thats why i appreciate this channel. What if that’s not a Giant Ant head, but a Quantum Ant head!? Maybe the Quantum Realm is how people travel to the Void. Ant Man spent time in the Quantum Realm, so maybe one of his variants got killed there. Maybe Kang killed him! We know that Kang is connected with both the Void and the Quantum Realm, so it makes sense there’s a connection And we know that people come to the Void from tons of different timelines and universes. How do they travel there? Well, the Quantum Realm is how it could happen. Makes sense

Well thank you for that moment of mild enlightenment. So for a split second I thought "why would they do this, that doesn't make much sense at all". But then, I took into account everything we have seen so far. And if all of these mutants are in the void with Alioth that means that they were all cast out as variants or what have you. Meaning that it's possible they are all bad guys thrown into the time bin, but it's also likely that they were all marked as variants for simply existing and then thrown away. Meaning it is entirely possible that none of these people are actually evil and Deadpool gets a new X-Force comprised of "variants" he found in the void.

To add to the theory of Deadpool being in the woods were Logan died and potentially throwing his (or the dead clone's) claw blades, is that besides the similarly toppled over vehicle nearby, you also see DP attack some 'soldiers' with a tree branch which might be 1 of the 2 sticks that X-23 put up as the 'X' headstone.

Very wrong. He says “kid” a lot because he’s been alive for so long, since 1832. So everyone is way younger than him. He’s called a lot of X-men characters and characters in general “kid” and “boy”. But again I wouldn’t be surprised if he is taking to Laura because of the heavy rumors, but I do also see him calling Deadpool “kid”. ✖️

Paul! I think the TVA, their minds were controlled by Nova; so they turned on Deadpool. I don't think that they're ( TVA ) are the enemies I think thats the reason Wolverine and Deadpool continue to fight; he may be brainwashed when he went after Nova by himself. Who knows

I'll actually vibe with your theory that this Wolverine is hated because he couldn't kill Jean in The Last Stand event. It still makes sense. Part of me just hopes that Casandra Nova didn't just use Wolverine as a puppet to kill all the X-Men as we already had something similar to that in the Logan film. It would just seem a bit unoriginal. It would also imply that humanity actually fully accepted mutants in this Wolverine's universe prior to the deaths of the X-Men since Logan is treated with distain by the bar worker.

The portal can't be Ned, because everyone forgot who peter was meaning everything super hero Ned forgot. By the end of No way home Ned and MJ forgot all about super heros and were living their normal lives before Peter Parker about to head off to MIT.

I think it was Cassandra that creates the portal. If you look just to the right of it you can see her just standing there unbothered by it just watching them go. If not her then it's the ancient one

Like Hawkeye and Spider-Man: NWH, they released a trailer before the D+ show revealed the movie's secret. We saw Kingpin before we saw DD in SM: NWH. I think C. Nova before she is revealed in X-Men 97. I suspect that everyone in X-Men 97 is going to die, and that's the Wolverine we are going to get.
