The funniest thing of *all*? This relationship, between Death and Deadpool, has made no less than *Thanos of Titan*, jealous, of *Deadpool* (since Death actively demonstrates affection for Deadpool on a regular basis, whereas she only very rarely does so with Thanos). Yes, Marvel's equivalent to *Darkseid*, is *romantically jealous* of a guy like Deadpool-- so much so that, at least once, Thanos cursed Deadpool with *true* immortality, JUST to *keep him away* from Death.

I love how deadpool, despite being trivial in almost every way, does seem to have some kind of weird cosmic significance in a way that other heroes don't. He not only holds the direct affection of one of the most powerful cosmic beings in the universe, but is largely unimpressed with this fact. Its no wonder that he was similarly unintimidated by the affections of Shikla, he was already dating down the social hierarchy just by affiliating with her.

DorianMichaelsIII Death isnt really a malevolent being in any kind of mythology. Quite simply the only scary thing about him/her ( In most mythos death is a woman but some see it as a man) is the skeletal face. Death is meant to be, at the very least, comforting
