So hang on... Where did Madcap come from? Am I supposed to just accept that he is a being who came into being directly because of Deadpool, and that he has no backstory or relation to the rest of the marvel universe other than that specific set up? I am simultaneously impressed and disgusted. I want more Madcap for some reason, and I don't like it if this is his origin.

that ash thing was a little bit out of range, if anything, deadpool would need some water added in along with some sort of blood substitue to allow him to be able to regenerate at all in the first place

Tim Millers idea was supposedly to make the 2nd Deadpool more serious. Giving a darker Deadpool with few funny moments in movie. Ryan was dead against it. So thats why Miller stepped down. Not like fell out with him but just leaving it to him feeling like Ryan may handle it better.
