This Deadpool Wolverine movie definitely gives me hope for the MCU

Action looks as good as it’s been in a long time. Two unbelievably popular characters , two great actors. Very exciting . And it’s good to see they are focusing on the characters, focusing the emotions of them as well. Fingers crossed. And yes, they didn’t give a lot away at all, we know the general plot, put where it goes after that is exciting

This movie is exactly what we needed for the MCU. All I ask is that they have Wolverine vs Hulk

First time hearing my comment read on air thank you guys love yall and this podcast so much !

I don’t know if anyone will touch Hugh’s legacy in this role or his run as a superhero character in general. Dude’s been the one and only live action Wolverine for 24 years, with 10 appearances as the character in that time and he STILL looks incredible. Probably one of the best casting choices in cinema history, I don’t even care that he’s not short. He embodies Logan through and through. Also the fact that he’s been able to play tons of other fantastic characters in that time and truly showcase what a talented actor he is is really impressive, he could have easily been typecast as just Wolverine

Ryan better make a Mint Mobil joke of some sorts in this movie!

I think this Wolverine and Cassandra Nova come from the same universe. In the comics Mysterious hypnotises Wolverine and makes him kill the X-Men. I think this time around maybe Cassandra does something similar resulting in everyone hating Logan. Then Cassandra ends up in the void, possibly destroying universes that feature Charles Xavier which of course includes Deadpool’s universe. I also think these rumours of Cavill and Radcliffe as Wolverine variants will be early on. The TVA telling Wade he can recruit someone from one of these dying universes naturally he wants Wolverine and then we could have a few minutes of Wade not just looking for Wolverine, but specifically for Hugh and encountering Harry Potter and Superman first and just killing them for not being Hugh. Of course Paradox (Macfadyen) seems like he might be the main villain which is why Wade starts killing TVA agents and I think it’ll result in Wade and Logan being stuck in another universe, probably the Logan universe at the grave where Wade kills the TVA agents with the sticks from his grave as well as using the claws for, his remains as daggers. Stranded in this world, I’m guessing this is where they then meet Laura and Gambit. Laura will probably mention what happened in Logan which is where “I’m not a hero, kid” line comes from. I have a feeling we might see them universe hop perhaps appearing in scenes we know from past films because those films were cancelled or maybe continuity errors within the MCU. There’s so much they can do that it’s crazy.
