Deadwood three wheeler rally 2024!! Motocross madness

Today is the first day of business for us here at the deadwood three wheeler rally. It is also the day of the motocross event. Typically when we work this rally the motocross is not here. Therefore, with all of the extra people in noise, it made things very interesting.
We only worked on one customer motorcycle today, but got to spend a lot of time watching the motocross practices as well as the heat races later that evening. There were many different age groups and classes. My favorite was the 50 cc 4-6 year-old class.

I think they’re having more fun. I don’t think that they actually feel the pressure of competition. They’re just out there riding for fun.

One of the first things I did to my new trike was install the Legends kit. Raised the trike 3" and changed the horrible shocks. Later I added the Legends front fork kit and the trike rides and handles ten times better. By raising the rear, it puts a different angle on the front and makes it turn much better. Not sure why HD does not re-design the suspension to meet the after market stuff.

I bought DK customs lift brackets and what a great difference and a lot of people change out the shocks at the same time I still have stock shocks

Really enjoyed this one Adam, The little ones are such fun to watch. My youngest Grandson got a dirt bike for his 5th Birthday 2 weeks ago, they learn so fast at that age.

Adam, on the lift kit brackets for the tri-glides. The US made brackets from companies like DK Kustoms or Legend Suspension, has the welded nut on the bracket, like the stock ones. The cheaper Chinese ones from Amazon usually don't.

Haven't seen a Motocross Race in a Long Time, Really Enjoyed it, So Glad my Son Jacob didn't have a Battery Powered Bike like that Young Lady did growing up or he would've ran over his Grandparents and Cousins with it while I was on the Road Driving🙂
