Alot of old dogs are like this. They get cataracts so they barely see, and hearing goes with time. But dogs rely on smell more than anything so they can still function decently.

That what you accept when you get a pure white (lightcolered) dog. They are very prone to being deaf alot more ! And especially if both parent are pure white. It actualy like 80% of all white dog carrying this mutation able to make it happen. Something about the pigment mutation being able effect genes in other parts of body or something if i remember. Dont recall it for sure. Being blind aswell is just very lunlucky aswell, not sure if that can happen by same reason honestly.

Dogs can tell a lot with their nose. We look at pictures and read posts on Facebook, they sniff trees and bushes the same way.

Most animals do (some better than others obviously), its really cool to see animals that give no fs about their conditions and still are just happy and loving life.

God doesn't have anything to do with dogs, blind or seeing. Dogs are just another animals to Him. They are nothing special to Him. People have made dogs special for themselves. God doesn't have anything to do with it. Even though God created everything, even every animal, He didn't put holiness in animals, in dogs the least. Matthew 7:6 says clearly about dogs "Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces".
