She gets so excited when I get home! She was rescued from a dumpster and the greatest cat ever. She is 100% deaf and likes to make her presence known! :)

Its really interesting that she meows because I've read that audible meows are relatively unique to cat-human interactions. Most house cats communicate with inaudible tones and body language baring specific circumstances like hissing, caterwauling, etc. They learn to meows vocally for attention. Its really interesting that this kitty still learned how to meow.

I just adopted a deaf 5 month kitten. His meows are heartbreaking. Everyone in the house(2 3 year old pitbulls and a 5 year old cat)checks to see if he is okay. This cat has no idea how he worries us.
