Screw what these negative commenters say. I'm a dealer at one of the top 10 largest casinons in the USA. I Went through In-house dealer school after transferring to table games. I have slight hand tremors(embarrassing at 26yo) that I didnt realize would have a huge impact on my job. Cutting cheques is the hardest part of my job, even after one year working in a high volume casino, I still hate having to color up large amounts of chips. While I am a very fast and pretty accurate dealer, my tremors make me look bad, because I sometimes fumble the cheques. Your tip about dropping the stack before continuing has helped me a lot. Also, the part about not hitting them too hard when sizing in helped as well. Your tips helped me improve my cheque cutting and made it less embarrassing. I'm a great dealer and th guests always have fun(most important thing about being a dealer, besides accuracy). I just wish my hands would stop shaking :/

I hate to say this sir, but this is not drop cutting. This is sizing. As long as your finger slides off the previous cut to measure the next, it is sizing.

Your very first move of 'put three chips out there' is not explained. I had to freeze frame it and slow it down to see how you're counting out those first three chips with one hand and still can't see it. In slow motion, the bottom three chips simply begin moving forward from under the stack and you can't tell what fingers or thumb are responsible for feeling the first three chips and pushing them out from under the stack.

The way you are doing it is wrong for beginners. The way you are doing it is when you are ready know how to cut the cheques. The way you do it with your left hand is better.
