I walked away once because of a $250 dealer installed lojack style device. They were saying oh but it'll help lower your insurance. Oh really, you called my insurance and they said ok pay $250 for a dealer LoJack and we'll lower the insurance on the backend...😒😂

In 2019, i bought one of the last new jeep JKUR on the lot. Couldn't give them away, as the new JL had come out mid year. Sticker was 41730. We bought for 36,200, because i had no idea what "door guards" were. Lol, but they tried 300 for wheel locks..."its on all our cars!" I said, the wheels/tires will be changed by this time tomorrow, dont need, dont want...while he lamented with my wife, i founf the mopar locks on Amazon. 😂😂😂 32.00, slid my phone in his face, and LOUDLY, while 4 other deals were happening said..."I'll eat 200 for your crappy door stickers cuz theyre on, but im not paying 300 for some sh*t i can buy on Amazon for 30!" This dealership is a place that rings a bell, and takes your picture when someone buys a car... they didn't even say goodbye to us. 😂😂😂😂😂 next day, i brought their wheel locks back, told em i hope this helps them make them some more money...

My neighbor bought one for his daughter at a discount. They are overpriced, but they are fun to drive and nicely fitted. I believe he got a $7,500.00 discount plus a lower interest rate. This was a major mistake on Stellantis' part for rebadging an Alfa Romeo as a Dodge. Dodge needs to get back to its' roots and build a modern NEON, give the Pacifica Minivan back to Dodge, and build cars people want to buy again.

I just saw a news report saying Stellantis is knocking off $4-$9,500 off on all of their vehicles to move them because both dealerships and manufacturers lots are overflowing with unused inventory and they’re having to slow down production as their vehicles stay on the lots for over 100 days while all other manufacturers have an average of only 50 days on the lot. Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep is struggling to sell vehicles but had the audacity to mark up inventory.

Sells about as well as the 1970-73 AMC Hornet. 😅

These odd dealer mark ups. Once got a simple GMC Sonoma. It was rubber floor mat flooring, standard, no frills single cab, pewter color, and a 1500 "special appearance package". Nobody could explain what this package was. Maybe they sprayed scotchguard on the cloth bench seat and sprayed Armor All on the tires but for 1500 back in 2000. I walked away. Got a call later that evening it was a mistake and the 1500 was removed. They didn't do anything to these vehicles but simy added a made up fee. If you caught on then it wasn't added on yet but if not you paid for nothing.

Had a rental Hornet r/t recently and it's a nice car. Definitely better driving experience and interior looks than toyotas. Not sure about reliability or mechanical aspects. I didn't like that you can't get full energy regen before brakes engage and that drive mode always defaults to hybrid between starts. But all manufacturers across the board are making these shitty decisions so i lowered my expectations long ago.
