When we don’t have any bookings for a couple days, we wish we had the bad customers lined up. My advice is never forget where we came from. Keep up the hard work. The goal is to make everyone happy and thank god for our blessings. Been doing it 25 years and the “bad” customers always come in handy. Utilize them to your advantage.

I stoped doing deals when they ask for deals . Most of the time they are trying to see if you will break. Stand firm on the price and say yiu dont do deals and most of tbe time theyll book anyways.

Please learn to tell them to kick rocks in the nicest way possible as these customers do not value hard work. Cleaning up after people is very difficult if they don't want to pay you let them know Walmart sells paper towels and glass cleaner.

I just got one today. The appointment was confirmed. The customer is a lawyer. The service was an in/out Deep cleaning because he is going to return the car to the dealer. The guy has known me for about 2 years already in person from seeing me doing other details in the parking lot that he parks at. He comes to the parking lot with a new car and says nothing to me. I had to ask him, so you are not doing it, I guess. He responds no because they took the car. Mind you, he confirmed the appointment, and he never notified me about the situation. I lost on another detail for that day because I scheduled him. The guy didn't care. He just walked away like nothing. My day was ruined. This type of people ruin it for other customers. O another thing he asked for a $50 discount and I gave the discount to get the job. He is now black listed..

Went to a detail and finally asked for payment and was short $5. She kept it at $60 every visit after that. I told her it was 65. I passed after the 3rd time. Driving 30 minutes. It's a loss.

I just went in on a truck for a customer/ someone I know chraged them basically nothing and they pick up the car and inspect it with a fine tooth comb complaining smh Will never under sale myself again Not gonna lie it was kinda discouraging but gotta keep pushing

I dont do discounts my price is my price no matter if its a basic , a mini detail or a full detail. What i do is if the car isnt to bad which in my case ive probably had 2 disasters since i started my business is if the car isnt that bad and i know that what they are paying for is more then what the car needs then i take car of minor stains or i give them a engine pay wash for free but like i said it has to be a car that needs minimal work and too offset. Makes the customer feel good and trust you and i feel accomplished and know i will get a good review and rheu will use my services again

Don’t give deal on labour service. Quality labour can’t be mass produced. If you sell a product that can be easily manufactured give a discount. The rain though bro, I just did a full interior with heavy hot water shampoo during a huge snow storm outside. temperature was about 1Celcius. I was worried but everything turned out great the vehicle was perfectly dry and everything. I had to turn the vehicle on and blast the heat and use my Dri-pod drying fans, but it worked out great.

Haha I love this new guy! I've seen a couple videos with him now. Definitely seems like your protege! 7:00 He says "I don't do washes, I'm a detailer". Can someone explain the difference? I am wanting to get started, and I've been wondering (probably just a 2nd question) how likely it might be that I can do interior details only, at least in the very beginning, to get that part down, before then branching out more into the whole car. Curious if this is the same idea or not?

Bruh! You can do a car and miss one spot , the customer will let. you know. some will be cool other act a you know what! Always say the final price comes after you inspect the vehicle..!

Mannn… lol 😂 the key is to smell them a mile away, Mann i pass them to someone else and I have no shame in saying my entry level is 300 for a sedan, do you have pet hair? That’s an additional $30, do you need shampoo or steam cleaning, that package is 350 your interior will look as new as we can get it, its interior only but we can add the exterior for 40 and a 3 or 12 month sealant for 45-85$ lol, I’ll run them off fast💨 we can do the engine to it’ll look brand new for 85, look at these pictures lol Throw them prices out there they’ll 🏃🏿, don’t blink or stutter, and some will just say yeah that sounds good, I’d like to get my wife’s Lincoln done also, Oh ok that starts at 375, 400 for the interior steam/shampoo than we can add on the rest like the other car. They’ll say perfect, does Monday at 8am work ? Yes ok you’ll receive confirmation via text and a reminder the day before. See you Monday!
