The youngest Zaza has 4A , older brother Issac is 3C and Big sis is 3B while dry but it looks 3A after conditioning and moisturizing. Her hair is probably high porosity it takes water really well. Zaza's also seems to take water well even though it's curlier/coarser.

Great demo! Zai Zai definitely has the thickest hair!!! Just to show the beautiful uniqueness God gave each one of us with our hair, it's amazing. I wish I had curly hair! Love those Grimwades, too. Both were excellent demonstrations!

Yes yes yes! I use most of those products. Never tried the Condish. I also have that same brush. I’m happy because you seem to know what you’re doing and your kids hair are always nice looking. So I feel like I’m doing a good job with my daughters hair🤗 but I love how you show the different textures because my daughter has 3 different textures so it helps me a lot to see how you tend to each hair texture. Thank you girl for letting us peak into your home to see your beautiful family. Btw you have beautiful hair too. 😍

It’s so nice seeing this video suggested to me ❤️ when I was younger my Asian mom had no idea what to do with my mixed hair and my dad definitely didn’t know what to do Lmao. I hope that when I have children I’ll be able to show my kids to love their hair as much as yours

Awww.......it is so nice to have a mama who knows how to deal with curly hair. When we were growing up in the 60's wigs and the hot iron was in. Our parents did not have the luxury of the products we have now. I am natural and love my curly hair. I am Nigerian but people seem to think we have European traits because my natural hair is extremely curly but we don't

Now it's weaves, braids, clipons and flatirons. So it really hasn't changed all that much. I was born in the sixties. My mom only used the hot comb for special occasions, like Christmas or funerals. She knew then that using hot combs too often could ruin the hair. She also used cocoa butter on our hair after washing it. She used it on our skin and figured that if it was good enough for our skin then it was good enough for our hair. When she ran out of that she used shortening. Not a lot, but just enough to seal in the moisture from the water. She was familiar with sealing in moisture long before the natural hair movement was a thing.😉

This video took me back to my childhood. Saturday nights my mom would fix my hair for church the next day and I'd sit there with tears rolling trying not to holler. She'd ALWAYS do some sort of braid and about pull me bald. 😆 Thanks for the positivity and for being a light in the world!

Zai-zai has the 4a texture like me but the crown to the front of my forehead is 3c coarse. I really have no problems with detangling my 4a in the back of my head but the top gets tangle like Isaac. I use Hawaiian silk and you be-natural products.

My daughter is not of mixed race but her hair was bone straight until she turned 2 years old then her curls finally came in, so I could relate when you said you thought their hair may favor your husband's. She's the same age as your daughter and now has a combination of curls in the front that are like Ia's and curls in the middle to back that are like Isaac's. Thanks for sharing this, their curls always look so fresh and bouncy. So I was curious as to what products you use since I gave up on products for her a long time ago, everything either dried her out or caused lint and knots. I resorted to raw shea butter and oils only. But I will definitely try what you have listed since I've always wanted to try to define her natural curls, let her wear her hair down and take breaks from braids. Thanks for sharing. ~J. Bunny

I’m glad I could help. I also like to use Shea moisture Jamaican castor oil leave in conditioner especially when I’m out of mixed chicks.

Thanks for sharing. There is a common misconception that looser curls are less tangly. Curl Junkie and Oyin Handmade make their cowash in a 1 liter size which ,would be more cost effective for your family. I love both. All of you have beautiful hair😊😍🤗

Loved the video. They all have such beautiful hair. Your daughter could straighten her hair with large rollers instead of heat, then do a wrap, brush it down and then it's straight. For those times when she want's to wear it straight. The no heat method will save her gorgeous curls. My granddaughter has the same hair type.

So ironic I just finished watching the Grimwade's family about the hair routine and the next video I saw was this one. Nice. I've been following them for just as long as i've been following your channel. Both cool channels. You moms should switch hairstyles for one day (get a wig) just to see how you would look in each other's hairstyle. This will be interesting.

Beautiful kids. They will always remember mamas touch. Boys will be happy with their haircuts when get older. Boys want to get up and go with something’s easy and girls like to experiment and take their time.

They have stuff called just for kids the detangle and conditioner and shampoo it is very very good for kids with curly tangled hair you will love it and they willl too
