" "I will never get married to Caelynn! " and less than a year later he is head over heels with her, wearing a wedding band, and has called her his wife and her mom his mother in law. He actually seems waaayyy more lovey dovey head over heels with her than she does right now. So I think he just does these things to make him feel like he is in control of the relationship.. You should hear him talk about wanting babies.. It's CLEAR he wants to have children but it's almost like he's gauging his partner to wait until she says she wants kids with him.
