I lost my grandpa a few days ago, I wish I could have been there for him in his final days. If you're reading this and still can, stop by or at least call while you still can.

I've had chronic blood cancer for 14 years. never expected to live this long with it! Ploughed ahead living my life, hoping for time, and when I didn't think I'd make 40, I'm now pushing 50. So appreciate the time you are given no on is promised a tomorrow.

I saw a grandfather sitting on a park bench, staring out into space, grandson standing next to him, cell phone in hand, oblivious to anything or anyone. At one time there would have been giggles, stories told, maybe even walking hand in hand talking. What has happened. We must change what we are doing or we will loose something very precious.

I just finished teaching my child to drive for the first time, and when I got back behind the wheel and turned the radio on, THIS was the song that was playing. I nearly cried on the drive home. Thanks Dean. ❤

As they say, the days sometimes drag by, but the years fly by. I sent this song to 4 friends and family members who have cut-off their parents. Not just for a few days, but for years!! I savour every minute I get to spend with my 91 year old Dad.

My son was from the "Class of '99, He died January 25, 2013. We ran out of Time... Love this song through my tears and broken heart...

I just called my grandpa first time since I moved to college. This made me regret not spending a lot time with him when I was back at home and always being in my phone. Growing up I was grandpas little girl but as I got older I distanced away and now I’m crying.

First time I heard this song I loved it because time is very precious . My dad had been ill since 2018 and I would take every opportunity to visit him which was unfortunately not often enough. I listened to this song on the afternoon of February 21st 2019 and received a phone call 3 hours later that he had passed away. The plan is to play this song at his memorial service in June. In the meantime I'll keep listening because it helps me remember that there are others that I love I have limited time with. Thank you Dean for writing a song.

I'll do anything to spend more time with my grandfather, really can't believe he is gone it's been to weeks and I still can't believe he is gone well he ain't really gone he is in my heart it's just sad how you think you have alot of time with someone then they are gone in a heartbeat.

So about a year ago I heard this song on the radio and it really hit me. Next week will be a year since the day my dad found out he was diagnosed with cancer. Yesterday was his birthday. This was played at my sons Class night last night. I was doing fine until it got to that last verse. Suddenly my mind was flooded with memories of loved ones I have lost and the thoughts that I hadn’t done enough for my kids in their lives. I’ve lost my grandpa, my dad, my oldest brother and my brother next to me that was so close to me. I miss them ALL SO VERY MUCH! My son is graduating Thursday and I’m so VERY proud of him! This song touched me, and I don’t listen to country, only gospel, but still it’s meaning touched my heart. Thanks Dean Brody from another Dean.

Great song. Makes me thankful that I got to grow up in more of an innocent time. Life was great just being able to play outside in the dirt with all the neighbour kids. Life was so simple just having the important things in life. Thank you for this song. It is a great reminder that my life was and still is wonderful just the simple little way it is. Oh to go back to those sweet loving days. I miss summer trips with my family...family is a very important thing. When you have it, don't let go. Enjoy every single moment..life is too short so live every day to the fullest because one day life vanishes in an instant.

I take time seriously as every second I want to keep myself happy and forget those that go around trying to look for means to keep others unhappy as it is just an upbringing thing. Only yesterday was 29th Feb and I thought it maybe the last leap year I live so I put time by to keep happy. I am grateful that God took care of me in a population of 1.4 billion people. When I see cemeteries filled with babies which was something I have never seen, it reminds me we were fortunate

You don't fully know this until YOU start getting older. And family is the most important thing. My wife is 8 years younger then me. And she always questions why I visit my folks so often. I tell her cause they're getting older. And I want to see my Ma an Pa. I didn't realize how much I loved them until now that Im older.

just like the meaning of the song, The problem in this day n age, So many young people think that you have time and I can honestly say, I wish I could go back, I lost my brother never knew he would have died at an early age though he was murdered. Lost my grandpa last year, but thankfully I spent much time with him but still wish I had more time with him. Don't take each day for granted, because not only are you not guaranteed tomorrow, but it could end up being a regret, and that can change your life.

I know how quickly time passes. I didn't realize how much I took for granted. My babies are grown now... And I miss my grampa... RIP Grampa 1920-2007
