Yup I remember the are you Cark or superman episode and I threw my shoe at the tv because I had to wait until the summer was over to find out what Lois would do. In English class, Freshman year of high school (dating myself lol) , our "water cooler" type conversations usually centered on Lois and Clark. I was kind of surprised when I found out he was part Japanese as I really didn't see it but now, I get why his eyes are so exotic looking. The commentary tracks on Lois and Clark, if you can get the DVDs are fascinating. He talks about how traditionally, Clark was a disguise for superman the person whereas, in Dean's Lois and Clark, Clark was his personality and the bulk of who he was, and superman was the disguise, sort of a way to use the powers he had safely and without exposure to his day to day life. And I LOVED Teri Hatcher. Her comedic timing was always so great.

I think the concept of virginity is good in some ways because it can help prevent people from getting STDs which are running quite rampant right now, but it’s not a big deal especially if you practice sex in a safe manner and are respectful in your relationships (since you don’t want your partner to unknowingly catch something either... unless you are super careful and ask for people’s test results before sleeping with them, use protection, and regularly get tested yourself... in that case I guess it wouldn’t be the end of the world if someone went behind their partner’s back, but it would beg the question as to why they were still in a relationship with the other person. I guess everyone has their reasons though, so we shouldn’t judge). The only difference between the past and the present is that these issues weren’t so openly talked about.

Of all the things in her book this is what Meredith and Gossip Media want to talk about and seem to be enjoying.
